I'd like to know why the staff is permitted to be continually rude to vendors. Leslie rolls her eyes and sighs, seems not very enthused about helping anyone. The two blondes in the back aren't much better. Lorna, the so-called office manager, either doesn't notice or seem to care. Is this perhaps why vendors are leaving this market? I've been here since they re-opened in May, and have paid my booth rent on time, every time. I keep my booth interesting and fresh, and yet, I'm treated thus. Why? It has to stop! I'm a vendor here as well. But you can find anything you need here. From 1930s-2010s generation they have it all!!! Bunch of nerd stuff if you like that, amazing food and homemade cookies, homemade pies, homemade chicken salad, homemade lemonade and mug more to choose from food wise. Whenever a visit to Jamie's is planned, I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. The amount of quality stuff to be found here is unreal. I go with my best friend, her fiance, and my girlfriend. We have never left disappointed. Two of us scour for vintage treasures, and the other two look for records and collectible glasses. There are vendors who overcharge for their goods, but you can usually haggle. There are also vendors who give you a great deal without you even having to ask. The price tag might say 24, but when you ask about the price you're told "$5." All you can think about once you leave is what you'll find the next time you go back. This place is definitely a flea market hoppers dream. read more

I'm not sure whether it is just that modern Flea Markets in general are losing their appeal to me or whether it is just my experience with Jamie's. Like all other flea markets, this one is basically a bunch of people who throw their thrash together and pay for a booth outside or inside and try to sell it to someone else. I love the concept of flea markets but the problem is that, unlike the flea markets of yester-year, people expect you to overpay for their crap. A comic book that would cost you $2 on ebay will cost you $30 at Jamie's simply because the people who are buying and selling have no concept of how much things are worth. There were a few cool things out there when I went but there was much more overpriced junk than anything worth mentioning. I was told that it was a slow day at Jamie's because people were expecting rain but I don't think it interested me enough to justify the drive out there again. I think what I disliked the most is that it felt very commercial for a flea market. Too many permanent booths and not enough people just trying to get rid of old stuff. If I want to go buy something from a retailer, I'll go to the mall, not drive 40 minutes to pick it up while the seller blows smoke in my face. Count me out. read more

Oh my goodness. I am OBSESSED with Jamie's! This place is a bargain hunter's wet dream. So many amazing collectables, jewelry, records, toys, furniture and more. The sellers are all very nice and up for haggling. Often, you don't even have to haggle. They will look at a price tag and then shoot you a much lower price. You can't beat it! Definitely come early, many vendors close up shop early. read more

A good place to kill some time and look for all kinds of different items. There is a lot of useless junk being sold there (but it is a flea market so that's kind of expected). You can find all kinds of things there so there is definitely something there for just about everyone (i personally like the people selling lots of books). Saturday's are best to go because there are a lot more sellers, but Wednesdays are nice too. read more

What has happened to this flea market? Barely any furniture, and mostly junk. I wore my sneakers and was ready to find some treasures... I was sad. Rude shoppers and unfriendly vendors. There were a few nice vendors in the buildings, but the outdoor vendors were garbage pickers. The toy store building smells like a moldy basement and should be condemned, shame on them for letting be in the building, it smells and you can feel the mold. The saving grace of my day was the lemonade stand and Kiedrowski's bakery. read more

I love this flea market! I grew up around the corner from it. It's open on Wednesday and Saturday. There is a inside and outside. I usually find more of a selection on Saturday. A lot more people come to sell on Saturday. Get there early, all the good stuff will be gone by noon!! Make sure you take your time to look through all the treasure. You'll be surprised with what you can find. Parking in the front and back. One review I read said they only have porta potties, which in not true. They have bathrooms inside the building. They also have food vendors. The food is delicious! Can't beat flea market food, it's like fair food. If you like flea markets and looking for treasures, make sure to add this to your stop. You won't be let down unless it gets rained out. Hahaha read more

Been going for 45 yrs to this market. Have sent hundreds of shoppers over years. Will Not Ever Go Again! Place had my car towed costing me big $$$. Parked in open parking spot in front of indoor vendor building where signs were supposedly posted but not visible as I parked in that spot. Found out many unknowing visitors have been towed from this supposed "no parking" poorly marked area .. Vendors are "flea-ing" this market. So many vendors spots are empty indoors and outdoors. Makes me sad to see a place I've shopped my whole life deteriorating. read more

It is a good place to find deals but most of the stuff they have on the inside is comic books and knives.

Great place, LOTS of stuff, however I have to agree with other reviewers. Most people there sell at eBay prices or what they seen in an Antique book. I also agree with the fact that some of these people are hoarders. I am 22 and there are vendors there that have the SAME STUFF I remember seeing when I was 5-6 years old, I'm not even kidding! You simply can't get a deal at the flea market anymore.... flea markets used to be fun.... until the internet came along, now every Tom, Dick, and Harry wants $150 for a NES. read more

First time at Jamie's today! Founds some nice stuff from people outside. Very overwhelming inside however. Some people's booths looked like an episode of Hoarders and I couldn't even bring myself to go in those areas. read more

Meh. If you want to poke around for a couple of hours, it's not that bad. It has a mix of junky junk and possibly some useful stuff. Don't even eat anything from the food trucks. The lot is gravel and all the dust settles everywhere, including on the food. However, there is a Polish bakery inside one of the building and their desserts are delicious. Try the Snoogle! Busy place and lost of selection. I like there is a selection of food vendors. Be warned there are no restrooms except for porta pottys. The ground is gravel so dress with that in mind. The quality of produce there is not that great and the prices are not good. read more

Want to buy the junkiest junk ever? Want to sift through boxes of screws and toenail clippings? Bring your toilet paper and purell to Jamies Flea Market! As a shopper and vendor, I know for a FACT that they do not regularly empty the port a pottys. I was recently there at 4:30 am to claim an outdoors spot. When I used the outdoor port a potty it was FULL. It smelled outrageous early in the morning. I thought, "maybe this crap was from Wednesday and the truck will be here soon to empty these." Well, the truck never arrived. The day ended up being a 90 degree day. Needless to say, the toilets were simply unbearable. I had to direct people to the super disgusting indoor bathrooms, where there is no toilet paper or soap and there is garbage and fecal matter everywhere (at least this was in afternoon). The owners charge 15 dollars a booth. With even 200 outdoor vendors that is 3000 dollars for JUST ONE DAY outside (not including all of the INDOOR vendors). Surely they have put zero money into the upkeep of the grounds!!! Where is the money going?! Vendors don't have electricity. When arranging my booth I have to take about 20 minutes in the morning to clean out all the cigarette butts from the gravel. Nothing looks lovelier with a vintage basket than some Marlboro butts. read more

HOW on earth does this have so many stars? I guess my idea of what is flea market is it totally wrong. To me, this place is more is a bazaar. 98% of everything in here is new packaged crap that you might find at a dollar store. What happened to booths filled with old vintage stuff? It's like when you go into an antique shop that's filled with potpourri and scented candles and crafts. Big time thumbs down. read more

Absolutely loved this place! Its huge :D and with a variety of different vendors, no matter what you are looking for, you will find it...you just need to take the time. A lot of my friends and family say that they don't find great pieces like I do, but they don't take the time, to DIG DIG DIG! Bend down, move a pile of crap, look in nooks and crannies, because this is how you find gold people! I looked for a good hour and saw a few things I liked, but nothing I wanted then low and behold I turn the corner, and a vendor who was closed when I first got there, was finally open, and I pretty much bought everything on my wish list! And even if I left that place with nothing, it was still a fun outing for me, talking to the vendors, getting to know them, telling them what I'm looking for, and they said they will keep their eye out. Believe it or not, they do want to sell things and want to know what people are interested in. Trends change :) so I will for sure be going back to Jamie's Flea :D read more

You must of looked at the same Cast iron skillet and pot i did last summer the guy said he wanted a 100. for each then. And those people inside i truly belive are Horders because im 45 and some of the stuff in there was there when i was in my teens so like everyone is saying its a good place just to people watch and waste a saturday morring. read more

I don't know about Jamies claim of being North Ohio's biggest, but it seems to me Hartville FM is bigger (and definitely cleaner). That being said, Jamies is big & fun especially on those good weather days when the outside vendors abound. I've never left Jamies empty handed though some trips were better than others. I always seem to get something from the Asian vendor's many rows of cardboard boxes & washbaskets - usually starting with button batteries. Remember, this is a flea market, not a shopping mall. Yes, it's filled with both useless junk & "interesting characters". If I take the time to actually look-see, there's usually something of interest to be had. I don't argue with or insult a vendor. Being polite & asking if they'll take $$ usually gets results. Keep an open mind, ignore the jerks & you can't help but have some fun. read more
