Wow is all I can say... Mike the tax accountant did my taxes and completely botched them. His…read moreassistant stated to me that " Mike accidentally wrote it as $2,000 not $22,000" which is absurd for a tax accountant. Now I have to go out of my way and send out personal checks to Federal & State. What is the point of a tax accountant? Then I asked for any type of compensation and was told " things happen". Well guess what, when "things happen" you as a company should take care of them. We spent over $300 for my mother & I to get our taxes done and a measly credit of $40.00 wasn't even offered. I then asked to speak with Mike and of course he was "busy"!!! I requested to be contacted and am still holding my breathe for that to happen. I will be posting this on BBB & your website (which I am having trouble evening finding which suggests to me that he has some sort of shady practices). I had great experience in prior years but this year is different. I dropped off our tax documents…read moreon Thursday March 5th and usually about 2 weeks to be completed as we were told in prior years. We received a call on Friday March 20th by one of their office staff that our return was ready to be picked up. My husband, son and I went to sign and pick up our tax forms and thought we would be receiving our IRS return roughly 2 weeks from picking up our forms. It is now Monday March 30 almost April and our return was never sent to the IRS by their office and this I only found out because I had logged on to the IRS website to check on our refund but they did not have our information so I called Covati and Janhsen and that's when they said it was never sent to the IRS. So if I didn't check the IRS website for our refund, I would have never known my return wasn't filed. I trusted their office with our documents and return yet our forms just sat somewhere in their office without being filed and without even a call. If I didn't call them who knows how long before our return would have been sent to the IRS if even at all. So disappointed unfortunately we will not be returning.
