Great Doctor, that has taken care of me and my family for about 4 years. Highly recommend him for your family needs.

We just recently joined this concierge style medical practice. Our family physician, Dr. Silva,…read morerecently joined this partnership and we followed her here. You pay an annual fee depending on your family composition. The benefits are many, especially compared to HMOs and other medical practices. Appointments can be regularly made same day or on the next. And the scheduled duration of your appointment is 40 minutes v. the standard 15 minutes. Much more time to talk with your physician and get her relaxed, not rushed, attention. They have support staff in-house. There is a nutrition/dietician consultant. A small gym is available for your use supported by their in-house trainer/physical therapist. The physicians include a cardiologist that works well with the family practice practitioners. As this is a small, personalized practice, the physicians regularly update each other, especially when they see patients who are part of another partner physician. Personal, readily accessible, part of the Novant system, Hallmark is well-connected with truly top quality specialists. All insurance is accepted..at least all of ours is. Now in our 70s, we are very happy and reassured being part of this practice. We will receive great care as individual people, rather than just part of the daily flow of patients. Check it out yourself.

Avoid Novant Health Hallmark Care. I made an appointment for my 99 year old mother to interview…read moretwo of the doctors at this practice with a view to joining their concierge care program. Upon arrival, the disorganized staff put her into a holding room and ignored her for an hour past her appointment time, until we simply gave up and left in frustration at the horrible patient care and attention. This practice is disorganized and, in terms of bedside manner, incompetent. We will go elsewhere for our medical care. Any so called "concierge practice " that behaves in this manner should be ashamed to call themselves healthcare providers. Update: While I appreciate the apology, trust, once lost, is very difficult to regain. What we saw was a level of disorganization and, more critically important to patients, an absolute lack of any concern or caring, both in the office and when I called the receptionist. I have had more caring responses at the Department of Motor Vehicles--a low bar indeed. I sincerely hope that what we experienced is an aberration, and wish you well in correcting the issues we experienced.

This was probably one of the worst doctors visits I've ever experienced. The front desk staff was…read morerude both times i went. My nurse was overly touchy and pinched my shoulder multiple times while talking to me. It was extremely uncomfortable to be around. She then decided to repeatedly lecture me about contraceptive usage and said "you're too young to get pregnant so stay that way" when i replied i had never been pregnant. It seemed so unnecessary to say something like that. Who know what I could've had in my past or if I was trying to conceive with a partner. Unacceptable. While taking my blood pressure, she kept talking to me in a way that implied she wanted a response, but kept telling me to stop talking. Come to Dr. Fox. I said off the bat I wasn't interested in an IUD, but she kept pushing it. To further her case, she mentioned multiple times that she has placed an IUD in virgins before with no pain meds and they did fine. Gynecological medicine needs a complete overall bc many procedures done are incredibly painful for women, but many are often denied pain medication or it's not even brought up. An OBGYN visit is already hard enough with the anxiety, not to mention the staff making patients feel uncomfortable and pushed to do something they don't want to do. Pick somewhere else to go

I saw Dr. Jason Fishel for burnout, stress, and anxiety. The initial appointment went well, and I…read morefelt that he listened to my concerns. However, issues began after the appointment. Communication became very difficult, and it took over a month from my initial visit for my FMLA paperwork to be completed correctly. The paperwork was not finalized until after I had already returned to work (over four weeks later), which caused delays in my compensation. During my leave, I expressed my concerns to the practice by calling and leaving multiple messages through the Atrium portal, but getting any response during this time was extremely challenging. As I continued to reach out to understand why the process was taking so long--along with sharing feedback I had been given by FMLA--my direct tone and the fact that I did not address Jason as "Dr." (due to limited character space in the portal) were not well received. I attempted to clarify any miscommunication and reset the tone through additional portal messages. Despite my efforts, Dr. Fishel replied that our communication styles were "simply incompatible." Not only was he unwilling to see me at our next scheduled appointment, but he also discharged me from the practice. I sought help from Dr. Fishel because of the tremendous amount of tension and anxiety in my life. Unfortunately, his responses and actions (or lack thereof) only amplified my stress. While it is a provider's discretion to end care, this experience highlighted concerns around responsiveness, communication, professionalism, and sensitivity to tone and formality. Although the initial session was positive, the out‑of‑office follow‑up process did not meet my expectations for support or timely care during a stressful period.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Physician Assistant Jennifer Sheldon. I visited…read moreher on Monday for a persistent issue that clearly required antibiotics, yet she failed to diagnose me properly and sent me home with no prescription or real treatment plan. I messaged her twice through the patient app over the next two days with no response from her. Eventually, her nurse replied and told me Jennifer wanted me to book another appointment just to get antibiotics--despite my condition not improving at all. I then called the office and asked to speak with her directly. The front desk rep said she would have Jennifer call me back. That call never came. I followed up again the next morning (Friday), left another message, and the rep told me Jennifer had noted to set up another appointment. I explained I had already asked for a call back the day before, and again I was told she might call me that day. She never did. This entire experience was incredibly frustrating and showed a complete lack of care or urgency. It felt like Jennifer Sheldon was more interested in billing for a second visit than actually treating her patient properly the first time. I've never had such poor follow-through and indifference from a medical professional. I do not recommend seeing her.
