From the very beginning we asked Tom many questions about the quality of the build and advice to fit our requirements. Once the build started, the communication was brilliant and I can't talk highly enough of all the trade staff that came around and treated our property and family with respect. They were all very polite, professional and courteous and our finished product is of high spec and looks spectacular. We can't wait to create many memories in our beautiful new room and would absolutely recommend James Oliver Conservatories. If you want your day ruining, go to James Oliver conservatories in Lincoln. I started my day with great excitement; money to spend and a house to refurb. I'd been on their website the evening before and seen just the right light fittings so couldn't wait to get there. All I can say is that from start to finish, this was honestly the most dreadful shopping experience that I have ever had in all my 50 years; the doors were locked 15 minutes after opening time so I had to phone to get them to open up, the sales' staff were a shabby sight, there was not one smile nor nicety between them, absolutely everything was too much trouble and they needed chasing, there was total disorganisation and when I eventually surrendered saying politely and calmly that I had lost confidence in their business and would go elsewhere, the woman who is apparently proud to be the owner (deluded!), shouted insults at me saying that I was a cow and the rudest person she had ever met and CHASED me out of the shop (I think she had missed the point that I was already on my way)!! What is it that makes a person think that s/he has the right to treat anyone in that manner? I have no comprehension how she stays in business. my wife and I spent some weeks deciding with Jim and Tom the size and specification to match our property and awaited with a little trepidation the upheaval we expected it to create and the possibility of it carrying on into the new year to complete. The guys turned up on time and every trade worked together to ensure it got completed in under 3weeks from excavation to final electrics.and during this time nobody moaned about the boss and the company and all seemed to have worked an average of about 15yrs with Olivers!! The advantages of an all in package inc lighting,flooring and blinds is a lot easier than waiting for other trades to eventually turn up to do their bit. A brilliant conversion from a conservatory to a living room extension we can use all year round. James Oliver team did a super professional job with our new Guardian roof, removal of patio doors, plastering and electrical work and the result is exactly what we wanted.
