In the first session, she attended with her hoodie on and not speaking. Within 20 minutes, she had taken off her hoodie and was actively engaged in discussion with Lisanne. There are those who teach just as a vocation and those how are gifted by God. Lisanne's gift for teaching is powerful and drawing for even the hardest student. Our daughter is completing homework assignments (something she did not do) and learning the things she failed to learn in school. Many of our students graduate with a high GPA of 2.2 and get enrolled into big colleges, such as NOVA and Radford. Been going to see the Battlefield Bobcats High School football team play for the last few Friday…read moreNights. They are a really good team with a passionate and active fan base! The first away game I attended was over in Ashburn, we (Battlefield), the visiting team, had just as many fans in the visitor's stands - as the home team had on their side. Every home game we've had - the visiting team's fans were a paltry fraction of the total number of fans we had in attendance. Great HS football stadium field! They have a concessions stand where you can get hot coffee and hot chocolate, soft drinks and bottled water, Domino's Pizza, Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, nachos, popcorn, chips, and other snacks! There is also a concessions stand selling Battlefield Bobcats merchandise: Ballcaps, beanies, t-shirts, polo shirts, and all kinds of other logoed merchandise.
