I recently switched my oldest to a private school that also has a child care center. So of course, for convenience, I enrolled the 2 y/o. From day 1, my gut told me to move her back but being a social worker, I told myself, "just give it a chance." Was it terrible two's, was it the change in general, was it the center...? I continued to question the move, until it slapped us in the face!! I won't go into details but, my little one is back at GKA and it was...again, the best decision!!! She is so much happier. The total fees for transcripts for my previous schools adds up to $25-$30. I would be cautious about asking for such a freebie from any university, not just Strayer. There was conflicting information on the Strayer website about opting out of the student directory which lists name, address, telephone #, email address, date & place of birth, major, grade level, enrollment status, dates of attendance, school activities, degrees, honors & awards, & institution attended. I would need a good reason to give any university my SSN.

I was a vendor at their Multicultural Festival in April. True, it was scheduled to SNOW that day…read more So they put most of the vendors in the ball room. Now I paid $100 for a 10x10 booth. I got a 6'x4' section! DOWN IN THE BASEMENT! There were vendors along the edges taking up 3-4 TIMES the size and when you complained to management I was told, "do you want to leave? IF so you forfeit your money." I got ROBBED, NO ONE came downstairs. I went upstairs to find a food vendor and saw TONS of people but asked several about going downstairs: "I am NOT going down stairs" Way to go, first you STEAL $100 then threaten vendors who complain! It should have been moved to the next weekend or given vendors the option to attend for a refund OR partial credit for 2017 event. I left several messages, emails and called Dean. NO ONE CARES how they treat PAYING people! I will NEVER send my daughter or grandson to THIS university and I will be sure to let ALL must clients know how apathetic employees are how they STEAL from small businesses!
