I have heard people rave about Dr. Morrish. Apparently he has been a perfect gentlemen to other patients - such a nice person that he puts you at ease. I wish I could say the same, but I can say about Dr. Morrish is that he is a bully.
I remember him making these inappropriate 'comparisons' about how I should take care of my teeth. A personal favorite he told me was, "You need to take care of your teeth like you take care of your weight, except you obviously don't." Which he said to me as a 5'4, 120 pound 14 year old. This happened every single time I went into that office.
But I can forgive that if I could have straight teeth at the end. But recently I tried to order a new retainer to replace one that had broken a little while ago. My teeth haven't shifted that much - they're still straight, but I would like to keep them in the same shape they came out in. The office told me that my retainer mold, however, was not in their system because they deleted their entire database to make way for a 'new, better system'. Even though I have moved out of state, I would have to go back to Florida to get them to remold my shifted teeth and make a new retainer. This is ridiculous. I was never contacted about this. The thousands of dollars spent on braces to make my teeth straight will all be for nothing if I cannot retain them.
I spoke with some friends back home about my experience and every single one of them had only negative things to say about Dr. Morrish. Most of them had only gone to a consultation and refused to accept his service after finding him to be rude and caring only for the money. Those who had gotten braces from him have recalled similar experiences of bullying by a grown adult to a child. I can only conclude that Dr. Morrish is a scam artist and bully, and I would never recommend him to anyone. read more
