Monday afternoon weakness. Just finished some shopping and the toddler grandchild asked for a Jamba and a waffle treat. Okay, she was good while shopping so I gave in, against my better judgment. The door was wide open so we walked in and up to the counter. Not having even one second to look at the menu, the tall guy behind the counter, in his loud and blaring voice, asked us for our order. This was my first time at this location, but I loved the layout. Good for a quick in and out. They were speedy at this Jamba, which is good because they had a few customers. I didn't feel rushed, though, which is often what happens when a team is trying to be speedy, they make you feel rushed, but not here! Everything was correct on our order. We ordered two refreshing medium smoothies, and we even tried the Parmesan Pretzel, which was warmed and so delicious. ($1.99- I highly recommend this snack!) The dude and I came to Jamba Juice with the niece. I believe this was the first time the niece came to a place like this and she was so excited. Surprisingly she didn't want anything. So the dude got the Orange C Booster (something like that) and I got the Matcha drink substitute with unsweetened almond milk. They use to have a rewards program where you type in your number but it appears they got rid of it as my number was not in the system anymore so I had to create a new account via the Jamba Juice app. Now you open the app and scan your phone to it. I seriously love businesses that offer reward programs! Definitely gets me coming back. Dude to Jamba Juice being loaded with added sugars...I won't be coming here often as I am working on cutting carbs and unnatural sugars. But on my cheat days they can be in the picture. They changed their menu a lot. The last time I came to a Jamba was two years ago maybe. Anywho, they have a little something for everyone here. Huge plus is that they use Greek Yogurt in their smoothies now which I seriously love Greek Yogurt! High in protein and low calories. Anywho, new location. My daughter and I had an awesome visit at Jamba Juice! We were ordering within 1 minute of arriving, and this was in 100plus degree heat on a weekend afternoon. Though they got extremely busy right after we placed our order, plus they had mobile orders going...that place was the most efficient, well oiled machine with precision and timeliness galore! Every worker knew their role and kept things moving with a smile. We enjoyed the Watermelon Breeze and Strawberry Whirl Smoothies. We requested extra thick and they understood the assignment. We also were given our ice cold water we ordered, with a smile. As the used blender containers were stacking up in record time by one worker, another worker emerged to clean them, and keep the ball rolling. No one got flustered, everyone was focused, and our order was perfect! It was refreshing to see a team working together, keeping customers happy! Jamba Juice is so nostalgic for me because when it first came to Fresno I was a teenager and never had anything like it before. I still remember always ordering the razzmatazz or Caribbean passion, which they still have on their menu. Back then the "original" cups were the size of the larges today, and they even had an extra large cup. Styrofoam back then. Boy have things changed and prices have gone up. The smoothie world has gotten competitive! Jamba is on the "too sweet" side for me, but the sound of the whirl of blenders, the youngsters working here, and the bright cheery interior will always bring back memories for me of hitting Jamba after a day of Key Club service events or just on a random evening after high school. Eventually they got the matcha green tea blast which became my favorite and first introduction to matcha. It seems this location did not have it, unfortunately, based on when I tried to order online. Not sure if that is a recent change or temporary. They have this new breakfast sandwich thing now which they rightfully call a snack, as it really is more of a half sandwich considering the size lol, but the white cheddar on it is quite tasty. Still for the price and corresponding caloric size, I will stick to Starbucks on this one. Overall, the prices here are steep when I know how to make a decent smoothie at home, but still a nice place to go, clean, friendly, colorful. =). Most recently I got the pomegranate paradise. I usually have a decent experience here, but today was particularly bothersome. I will start with my appreciation for Raymond who was polite and apologetic for my long wait time, but the other juicers were less than polite. The cashier was clearly in training and I was patient and understanding until I realized she charged me for two orange supremes vs the two orange juices I ordered. She communicated to her team that she rang me up for the wrong order and if they could fix it, however did not alert me about this and allowed me to be overcharged for her mistake. I took my younger sister to Jamba Juice for her birthday. There were 3 other white families in front of us and the worker took all their orders but stopped when I came up to the register. He said he would be with us in a bit to take our order but proceeded to take his time making and giving other families their order. I waited for 15 minutes while he continued to disregard my presence and take my order. I find this really unprofessional and racist as I was the only person of color in the shop and didn't get my order taken. I am really hurt to receive this service as I have been a long time customer for Jamba Juice, but after this service I do not know if I will still continue to go. It seems like I was disregarded and my order was not taken because people of color have the stigma that we will not say anything when mistreated. So another bad experience last week. I never got compensation for my bad experience listed below and on top of it I went back in the other night to see if they would do a better job and I didn't even get the chance to order when the young man working the register told me that I could not have my dog in there. I looked at him and I said, "Sir you need to look closely before you just throw out a remark, do you not see her vest?". He then looked and he quickly apologized and said that this was his very first day working. I said, "then let this be a lesson to you to learn about the rights of service dogs and to learn to look and distinguish or confirm it's a service dog before you start throwing remakes out there". I also informed him that according to federal and state laws service dogs do not even have to wear a vest which is why you should always ask. read more

Terrible service. The employee that took my order looked like he didn't want to be there. I ordered their new cold brew with sweet cream and switched out the coconut milk for soy milk. The drink was terrible. It was loaded with ice. In a 16oz drink costed me $6 which was loaded with ice. Not worth it for $6. I threw away half the drink. Not impressed with their cold brew. Very unhappy with my experience with this Jamba Juice. When I visited last night, the customer service was pretty awful. No one greeted us when we walked in, no one was smiling, and everyone looked truly annoyed to be working. After ordering two smoothies, we waited about 5 minutes and one smoothie was made by a young man. He then walked off (in the middle of an order) leaving us to wait another 5-7 minutes for the second smoothie to be made by a second employee. I ordered a smoothie with whey protein and kale added to my drink, very well knowing that these should increase the drink size and thickness (past experience working for the company). The girl who made my smoothie handed out a runny smoothie (yes, runny) in the same small cup. I asked her if both whey and kale were added, to which she replied yes and just looked blankly at me. A remake was not offered, even though it was apparent I was unhappy with my drink. Very disappointed, and won't be visiting again. Quality was extremely low. read more

I very unfairly gave this Jamba Juice a 1-star review on a night where I went to numerous locations looking for one that was open. Sadly, this was the only one open until 10 that night, and in a hissy-fit, I gave them a poor review. Recently, this Jamba Juice gave me some of the best service recently. I went in the morning when there was nobody in the shopping center and only one other person in the store. They gave me quick service, asked no questions when I asked for some strange substitutions (I really don't like seeds in my drinks, which means I substitute strawberry out of almost every smoothie), and gave me a memorably good smoothie, all with a good attitude. There was only one person working at the hour as well, so he really left a good taste in my mouth for this second experience. read more
