Receipt for 4 tacos for $29.00.

I've gone to this market several times and also ordered food from this market. I'm not sure what happened this time but I've never been charged almost $30 for four tacos??? Something is definitely wrong. Ridiculous! You might as well go to a restaurant, sit down have a full meal and get served.

This place is reported CLOSED by Yelpers, but is open for business. I was there on 01/25/2020. I noticed they made some improvements. They have a Mexican grilled inside the market. I had Mexican street tacos there. The tacos were authentic and tasty. Definitely be back soon.

Carne asada tacos and Al pastor they give you good portions

Ok here's my FULL Yelp review carne asada tacos a SOLID 8/10 I'm pretty sure they use a different part of the cow for their meat but they def understood the assignment they seasoned it so nicely and the meat was sooo tenderthey give you HELLA meat so you def need a second tortilla. Oh and their green SALSA AMAZING. Baptize your tacos and you'll never regret itTheir al pastor tacos are marinated differently haha def felt a little bit of Indian spices? But still so GOOD. 8.5/10

Always consistently good and very flavorful. And you can't beat the pricing for the amount of food. I normally get 2-3 meals from one order

Great market pro tip there is parking in the front and back of the building so if the parking lot looks busy check the back.

First time at this market. It was OK-ish! Small isles and not a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables to pick from.

This is one of my favorite Asian grocery stores. They're the only place I've found that sells an…read moreIndonesian hot sauce called ABC, so whenever I want it, I always have to travel to Catonsville. Their prices aren't the cheapest overall, but they're not expensive either. There are a lot of options for fresh produce, and my favorite thing to buy here is the halal meat and chicken. That said, the store could use some rearranging and a deeper cleaning. The vibe feels a little different compared to other Lotte Plazas, and it seems less clean than the one in Ellicott City. The staff are nice, but they could be a bit friendlier. On the plus side, there are plenty of parking spots available.

Although I have purchased decent seafood here, I realized after recent…read moreinteractions with staff here that several of the Seafood counter Hispanic workers as well as the Asian personnel encountered (who staff the in-store front office) seem most rude when approached and when asked even the most basic of questions! In the past, I have merely selected my items and then proceeded to checkout, so I had no reason to approach behind-the-counter personnel . Today, however, we had questions concerning some fish we intended to purchase and also had to visit the front office. At the seafood counter, the Hispanic man behind the counter was dismissive and twice became snappy! When asked about the bass, he refused to communicate the info requested. Then at the office, the woman snatched the receipt from my daughter and was impolite. Thus, I will refrain from patronizing this market at which we received harsh tones and unnecessary abruptness while shopping and during the manager's processing of a refund for 2 packs of SPOILED, SMELLY "sushi-grade" SALMON that I was forced to return only hours after my purchase. Only when I had opened the packs of salmon did the smell became detectable! The clue should have been the fact that the expiration date was May 21, 2026 and my purchase date was May 20, 2026. Yes, I should've checked the dates before making the purchase, but seafood personnel should've removed the salmon, should have accurately dated it from the start, and should have appropriately monitored the seafood case items to protect public health. Talk about a most serious Food poisoning threat! Indeed!!! The Lotte Market EXCEPTION is the onsite MOOLKOGI Restaurant which consistently provides EXCELLENT FOOD, and A-One CUSTOMER SERVICE! Unlike Lotte, MOOLKOGI is owned and operated by a warmhearted, dedicated, very responsible, expert chef, and professional Asian businessman and gentleman whose dishes are exceptionally good, always fresh, and well priced! But LOTTE MARKET overall FAILS to meet the public expectation and apparently seems to be operated based on a mindset that providing polite and qualitative customer service is optional and unnecessary. How foolish! I will not condone such a mindset by continuing to be a patron of this market as I reject and resent its biased and exclusionary business practices.

The store itself isn't very large, but they really make the most with the space they were given, while still managing to not feel cramped. The have a small produce section full of really fresh items. The refrigerated/freezer section spans the right side of the store, and is filled with all kinds of goodies. They have a check cashing booth to the rear left of the store, not far from their meat section, where they have a bunch of different cuts on display. I found many items that my family uses regularly, and it's awesome to now have something in the area, in stead of having to run out to Laurel or New Carrolton to make special purchases. I really hope that people take the time to check this place out. This staff is friendly, and helpful. This market was much needed in this area. I will be patient as they work out any kinks, and hope to see them flourish in the years to come. Welcome to the neighborhood!

(If others exist, they're well-kept secrets). The space inside is very bright! A lot of these very small markets can feel cramped and dim, but not so here. Due to the footprint of the store, it's not very large inside, and the aisles (if you can call them that) are small and cramped. But, they make good use of the space all the same, and with super-high ceilings, it FEELS a lot bigger inside than it probably is. They do have a fresh foods counter in the back, and they also offer fresh and frozen produce up front. I got a great haul, enough to make a fantastic salsa verde with some fresh tomatillos, jalepenos, lime, and cilantro. Yum! It went well with the frozen tostones! I'd like for this place to be a lot bigger than it is, but I can't complain. It's a really nice shop with helpful staff and a good selection of products considering the space available. It's well worth popping your head in and taking a look around!
