This place historical sold bait and convenience store goodies, but when I entered I knew things had changed for the better under new ownership. Behind the counter was a smiling face who turned out to be an energetic, attentive cashier. He immediately asked me if I was looking for bait, and communicated the price per dozen right off. Very impressive customer service! While he was in the back I just admired how clean, well stocked, organized, and well lit the store was. You could tell someone took pride in running this store now. I was so impressed at how friendly and good this place felt. The cashier informed me that they are open at 6a, then possibly 5:30a as the fishing season and sunrise progresses. I admire a store that considers what the customer's need, and makes adjustments to accommodate. They even have huge shad tank outside for bass fishing.
