Traditional style barber shop. A guy's guy kind of place. Lots of pictures of successful hunters…read morewith their quarry cover the walls. Stuffed fish keep them company. And an ex-Marine named Jack who knows how to cut it short & sweet. Trim it close & let the wind come in. He's cordial & warm with the habitue's of his chair. And he's efficient too, no time wasted. After all, the fish are waiting for the season to end and the clipper man has a limited time window to hit. All told, his prices ain't bad either. So if you find yourself in the Northwoods lake country around Pequot Lakes & in need of a haircut, stop by and see Jack because he'll do you right. But maybe call first to insure he's there that day. He may be temporarily unavailable, if the fish happen to be biting.

Best haircut I have received in years. Jack, the barber, is a great conversationalist.read more

Rachel greeted me right away and was so friendly and nice, I instantly felt comfortable. I arrived a few minutes earlier than my appointment and Rachel was already set up and ready so I had no wait time once I checked in. The massage room is perfect ( in my opinion). Soft soothing music was playing, lights were low, bed warmer was on which is a must have here in Minnesota during the winter! The sheets on the bed were soft and clean and smelled so good. I was so at comfortable and relaxed I almost fell asleep before Rachel even started my massage. Rachel is UH-MAZING! Perfect pressure, not a lot of talking, very professional! This was legit one of the best massages I've ever received. It was actually SO good that I booked a weekly appointment with Rachel for the next month! So if you're in the Park Rapids area....or even if you would drive from further for an outstanding massage. Call and set up an appointment here! You won't regret it!

I decided to treat myself to a two hour appointment (only $125 ) and OMG am I glad that I did! First off, the ambiance is beautiful! Clean, smells amazing, soothing music, little fairy lights places all over along with electric candles. I immediately felt the space draining the stress from my body. I chose a relaxation massage with hot stones. It felt SOOOOO GREAT! Pretty sure I fell asleep a couple times! I also had some elbow and jaw pain and Joan used a tuning instrument of some kind that made a low sound and vibrations through the areas of pain and legit....it's been two hours after my appointment and the pain is gone. AND she offers Reiki as well!! If you're looking for an out of this world masseuse in the Park Rapids area, look no further! Joan and Healing Arts Center is the spot to choose!
