A major error was made on my State Farm policy--an entirely wrong VIN was entered, which I only…read morediscovered when my tag renewal showed my car as uninsured. What made it worse was the handling. I've been with State Farm for nearly 25 years (my husband even longer), working with 4 agents across 2 states; and never once had an issue or filed a complaint. Every agent we worked with was truly excellent--until our longtime agent retired and Kaitlyn Ponce took over. She has been difficult to work with from the beginning, and this was the tipping point. Her "fix" to the VIN issue was sloppy and incomplete, leaving me at continued risk. She assured us it would be corrected retroactively with the state to ensure no gap in coverage; but it wasn't. Thankfully, State Farm Corporate ultimately found the error themselves; notified us that they backdated the correction directly with the state to protect me from potential fines or misrepresentation on my vehicle. Instead of accountability, empathy, or even a basic apology, Kaitlyn was dismissive, cavalier and deflective, offering only a flat "It's fixed," "what else do you want us to do" -- despite the seriousness of the situation. A simple "no idea how something like this could happen - let's ensure we get ti fixed" would have gone a long way. Important to note - Anthony and Victoria in the same office were wonderful--kind, professional, helpful--and handled an emotionally charged situation with grace and professionalism - I don't want their efforts overshadowed by how poorly this was handled overall by the the Agent themselves; Kaitlyn Ponce. We are now moving all of our policies to another agent. Would not recommend this agency at all.

I do not trust and will not use Larry Kircher's agency any longer…read more I moved my business to State Farm from Allstate, because after I'd been hit by a State Farm policy holder, State Farm took better care of me than my own insurance company. Parts warranties, service, and the entire experience was better dealing with State Farm. Now that we are with State Farm, my daughter was hit by a driver carrying insurance apparently from a foreign country. She called Larry Kirchner, and was summarily kicked to the curb. All that Larry's office had to do was to give her the claims number, but instead they told it "it is easier" to deal with the other party's insurance. My daughter was left to attempt to navigate through the trying process of having her car repaired with a foreign insurer for whom English is a second language. Do they have the same quality of repair shops? Do they warranty the parts and the work the way State Farm does? I don't know, and Mr. Kirchner didn't either. It wasn't his concern. When I called Mr. Kirchner to take issue with the shoddy treatment my daughter received, he doubled down on his comments. "You'll have to be out of pocket for your deductible," he said, "and if the other insurer denies responsibility, you won't get your $500 back." How dumb! I asked Mr. Kirchner what made him think that if this foreign insurance company won't pay State Farm and their teams of experts and lawyers, what makes him think they'll pay me? He didn't have an answer. It would have been so easy to simply refer my daughter to the claims department. We trusted this agency enough to write them a check each month, and when we needed their advocacy, their assistance, and their expertise, they summarily dismissed my daughter without any regard for her difficulty, because it was easier for them. If I hadn't been there to help her and direct her to the appropriate people, she'd have had to struggle through the process of getting her car fixed because her agent couldn't be bothered to help. I've moved my insurance to another agent

On December 2nd, I received a message stating that my payment was past due. I called the office to understand why, but the person who answered was not helpful. During the call, I overheard comments that appeared to be complaints about immigrants, which I found very inappropriate and concerning. As a long-time customer, I expect respectful and professional service. One of the main reasons I have kept all my insurance policies with State Farm is because my previous agent treated my family with kindness and professionalism. After today's experience, I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend this agent to anyone I know.
