my trucks original key stopped working and stopped being recognized by the trucks security system, I had two spare keys that were cut but not programmed at the time, I called in the morning and the man was able to come out quickly, to program the two keys and verify they were working correctly was only 10 minutes, and he set the price to the agreed upon price over call, I'd highly recommend this locksmith business because they work quickly, they work professionally and if you're in need of someone asap, this is the place to do business with. read more

Hello to folks looking for a good/ great locksmith: I've contracted with Jake three times and each time he has been very responsive, responsible and reasonable. I've no reason to switch at this point and have no personal relationship with Jake or his team so there is no bias here. Yesterday, I carelessly dropped my house key in the lockbox at the auto mechanic's place when I dropped my auto to have work today. DANG! Now, I can see why you may not think I'm reliable ( hahaha) but I'm really truly an honest lady and I'm taking this time to write a review because Jake deserves it....I called him, he called me right back....and within 20 minutes was doing his job to get me back into my house. The work Jake Bahn did was okay, but he sneakily added an emergency fee for what was clearly a non-emergency service. Naturally, when the price was so high I asked for an itemized receipt, there it was. It actually was an invoice he never had my husband sign prior to completing the work. Assuming it was an error, we requested a refund for the emergency fee only. He refused, became belligerent, got his wife on the phone (?), recorded the phone call, and threatened action if we dared to give him a negative review. When we filed a consumer complaint with the attorney general's office (who was powerless to do anything about it), he lied and stated there was no emergency fee-- it was just part of his normal pricing. Apparently he forgot we had a copy of the invoice. I know others who have had similar experiences with him, but they were intimidated by him and, as a result, chose not to file a complaint or negatively review his business. When he has gotten negative reviews, he has responded consistently in a predictably aggressive manner: accusing them of lying, quoting the definition of libel/threatening to sue for libel, and even posting a recording of a potential customer's voicemail online. I hope no one else gets cheated by this man, although I'm sure they will because he knows he can get away with it. He preys on vulnerable individuals to make a dishonest profit. read more

I got locked out of my house this morning (of course it was pouring rain also!) and was referred to Jake. I called, left a message, he called back within minutes and he was at my house less than 30 mins later to successfully get me in WITHOUT having to drill out the lock. I accidentally locked myself out of the house I was watching for my neighbors on the first day (how embarrassing...) of being there. So I have a 1997 Honda Prelude that the keys were so dull I could barely turn my ignition over. I called up Jake to have two keys made.. I let him know they were in real bad shape. Well needless to say he crafted me two keys pretty much from scratch.The keys have transponder chips in them too making it even more difficult. He explained everything he was doing and how everything worked. You can tell Jake has been doing it a very long time and is passion about it. He is super friendly.
