Ask my woman to find me a place to get a hair cut she will tell you "Great Clips." Yeah... Ask your White friends and they will say "Fantastic Sams." They got that straw hair golden color with that thin spaghetti hair and they think they know colored peoples' hair. Get out of here! Yeah... So yeah this is open on a Sunday morning. I had Jesus cut my hair. He don't usually cut hair on a Sunday and don't work on a Sunday. Ahh the stars aligned for me that Sunday. Place looks like your typical old-fashioned barber shop and the smell sure don't smell like that "Paul Mitchell" that you were accustomed to "Supercuts" in the 90s. It smelled like lots of hair grease, the oils of the clippers. I was a mess that Covidf19 I grew out my hair looking like a dirty q-tip and a black mop. I mean my hair had all the split ends and was about to stick and tangle like a a Rastafarian. I wanted a hair that can look smooth, slick, a hair cut of a Rico Suavicito. I think Jesus and I hit this out of the ball park. It was 30.00 cash but, you know they got to pay their rent. I gave him a 20.00 tip cash. Jesus hooked it up. Jesus, pin was of frankenstein, the hat hmmm not your normal hat. We will put it at that. He didn't say much and he just trimmed like Edward Scissor hands. He is cool. My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. Overall: good prices for the attention to detail and location…read more I just moved from LA 4 months ago (August), and this is the second time I've got a cut in Las Vegas. On my first occasion, I got charged $40 and the barber did not put attention to detail as this person. Therefore, I would wait until I returned to LA for a cut. This place came recommended by my cousin who is a Las Vegas native. I love the Cuban vibes and the pool table on the center of the barber shop. I went on a Friday with no appointment, and ended with this cut in less than 40 minutes-- I got super lucky. My cut is not really their style since they specialize in fades.. my cousin gets hooked up with his price, and I got charged $25 with no appointment & all the lines shaving. I don't like how he made a new line in my forehead, but I'm sure he will get to know my cut. I had the same barber in LA for over 8 years and I'm sure my NEXT Longterm barber Already works here.. This time, I came in looking like a lion with a whole bunch of hair.. so all my lines were messed up. Yet, I love the attention to detail the barber did. He even clipped way down my neck line. Instead of putting alcohol on a napkin to rub on the shaved spot, he sprayed alcohol like hair spray. Every couple strokes of the clippers, he brushed off to make sure he got every hair. I tipped $8 because I'm happy with this place-- both prices and service. Also, $33 definitely beats $40 even though they are a bit further.

The other guy did the best that he could, but there wasn't enough left on the top of my head to really do anything so I walked out with the military crew cut. My hair was actually pretty long before that. Sad

(Seriously!!) Anyways, I've tried a few barber shops around here that I had trouble trusting and they failed me. The owner is a master of his craft and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I wanted to do something new with my haircut and add a design line on my side and I brought him a picture to see if he could do it, and without hesitation he went to work and perfectly matched the photo I showed him. Not only that, but he was the only Barber to cut my hair without looking military-ish and that's been a long problem I've been facing when I tell Barbers to try not to make my haircut military-ish. I love that he takes his time and truly cares down to every snip.
