This is the best Indian buffet I've ever had by a long shot. It's 9£ Mon-Fri 5p-630p which was perfect timing after just after having a delicious Six Degrees North Hop Classic at Duke's Corner one block away, on a random stroll during a one-afternoon visit to Dundee.
Indian buffets have tended toward trays of food that sits out too long so things dry out, and the curries tend toward simple, monochrome flavors. Here the curries were complex and flavorful, the tandoori chicken was tender and succulent (not taut and dry as it can be), and the selection of foods, while not huge, was diverse (but most important) richly flavorful and well-maintained. If no-one was partaking at the time, the staff would rush over and put lids on the trays to preserve moisture, heat, and aroma. As soon as someone approached an area they would rush to remove the lids. At the table, when done with a plate, staff would whisk it away immediately.
Great flavor, quality, service and attention to detail for a buffet, in a very pretty setting to boot. And just incredible value. read more
