I personally fought the urge to go home with the magnolia silk wreath beside the front counter but my mom ended up buying a kitchen tea towel and oven mit. From the moment you see the front window display at Cozy Nest you'll know this isn't your average small town gift shop filled with trinkets, Cherished Teddies, Precious Moments and Wooden Willows angels (no offense to you collectors out there). Conveniently located a few doors down from lunch at the Montage Cafe and cappuccinos at The Coffee Pot and you couldn't ask for a better Saturday morning in Greenville. I was impressed with the prices given what the items are. My only complaint was that the shopkeeper seemed to have a friend in while we were there and never greeted or engaged with us which would seem like a great marketing opportunity for a newer business. We'll certainly be back and I imagine this scenario isn't always the case.

I ended up rolling home with two baskets that were perfect for live plant inserts. There were several tables and desks that also caught our eye. Note that this business is just a block off the Main Street in Greenville where you'll find fun dining and more retail options. If you're on the hunt for dressers, artwork and a variety of chairs, you'll find those here as well. Small side note: you might need a cat up in here- we did see a mouse run across the store.

It seems that competition would be fierce in Greenville with this many rural focused businesses in one location. Tractor Supply Company offers everything from rural apparel for men, women and kids as well home decor, dog treats, bird feed, Carhart jackets, candy, etc. In the front of the business you'll find trees, a few landscaping items, chicken coops, and kennels. I always enjoy the the fun homesteading and urban living magazines. Parking is easy- which is necessary when you're lugging around fifty pound bags of feed. This place could use a bit of a scrubbing and design improvement to keep up with the competition.
