A couple weeks back at Voo I snagged a super cute black dress at a 30% discount, which made it almost affordable. Almost... That's where a place Companion Coffee comes in. This place sets itself apart from the competition purely because of the thought that went into it. It also helps that the guys running it are familiar with coffee; they train other coffee makers, consult with people opening cafes, and even do coffee catering. Companion is located inside/adjacent to the Voo Store, in a back courtyard off Oranienstrasse. The inside is stylish yet scaled-back, and coffee is clearly center stage. The baristas know what's up, but there isn't any sort of pretentious vibe lingering around. In addition to coffee and tea, there are some other bottled beverages and various baked goods. You can sit inside and enjoy your drink, or better yet, enjoy it in the sunshine just outside.
