She was able to get off the interstate and get the car parked at a Burger King. We live in Colorado, and having her so far away, not knowing a soul, I was just about panic stricken. We called AAA, and they sent us an angel from Till's Wrecker Service. His name is Derek. Derek was the answer to the prayers of my Mama's heart that God would keep my baby girl safe. (She's 22, but still my baby girl.) As soon as Derek arrived on scene he took control. My daughter said she felt very safe with him - so safe in fact, that when he offered to let her ride in the tow truck to Mobile, she accepted. She is not often comfortable with men, but he put her completely at ease. During the drive he shared with her about his family, his wife and three kids that he is obviously crazy about. He said that if his daughter is ever stuck some place he hopes someone will show up to help. I hope this never happens, if it does, however, he will get some sense of my gratitude to him taking such great care of my precious daughter. And as if that weren't enough, he called a couple of days later to see how my daughter was doing and even asked about the car. This type of customer service is unheard of these days. Derek is a professional who does his job with excellence and also a big-hearted human being. To his manager - you need to do whatever possible to keep Derek happy and a part of your company. Did not assemble door back correctly-the side mirror not correct; door seal not fully installed-was hanging off door instead of completed. Door "blend" repair, was more a "wax and buff"-dents still highly visible-this was done like this because the local Progressive Insurance Estimator left the proper repair out of the work to be done, because he wanted to cut costs, not because of any bad repair work from Pee Wee's.
