But, waits to tell you all this until after you pay a copay and billing your insurance. I called the office two times and left messages with the issues I was having from testosterone. All he had to do was return my call and tell me this is now out of the scope of his care and to follow up with endocrinology. Instead, I arrive for my follow up, see NP (not him) for a minute and told to follow up with endocrinology. Charged me $156 to take my BP, NP ask 2 questions and then refer me to endocrinology, yet never gave me a name of an endocrinologist. That visit could've been totally avoided with one phone call from him or the NP. But, all they cared about was collecting my copay and billing my insurance. Also, when you leave the exam room, this is no joke, THEY LOCK YOU IN ANOTHER ROOM, UNTIL THE STAFF REVIEW SOMETHING IN YOUR RECORD (MAYBE TO SEE IF YOU HAVE A BALANCE?), THEN WHEN STAFF ARE DONE REVIEWING WHATEVER IT IS, THEY UNLOCK THE DOOR AND LET YOU LEAVE. DO NOT SEE THIS GUY! AWFUL

I normally never write reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an…read moreinformed decision. I saw Dr. Celigoj at South Florida Urology in Jupiter for a vasectomy consultation and procedure. During the consultation, the procedure was described as routine and straightforward, although I was told that a small percentage of patients can experience complications. During the procedure itself, I experienced a moment of extremely intense pain when I felt a strong tugging sensation on the vas deferens while one of the instruments was being used. I remember this moment clearly because it was sudden and alarming. Shortly after that, additional local anesthesia was administered. The day after the surgery I began experiencing severe pain that lasted for several days. Soon after, my testicle began swelling significantly. Over the following months the swelling became extreme and very painful. At one point the testicle had grown to roughly the size of a grapefruit. I dealt with this condition for approximately six to eight months. Eventually I was told the condition was a hydrocele. The explanation given to me was that it may have developed the day after surgery, possibly from straining while using the bathroom. However, based on the severe tugging sensation I experienced during the procedure, I have personally always been concerned that the complication may have been related to what occurred during the surgery. This experience has had a lasting impact on my quality of life. Even now my testicle remains enlarged (roughly the size of a ping pong ball) and I continue to experience pain. I do not know if it will ever return to normal. Another difficult part of this experience has been the financial aspect. All of the follow-up visits, evaluations, and discussions about potential treatments have been additional costs that I have had to pay for myself while still dealing with the complication. Throughout this process I personally felt that the seriousness of what I was experiencing was not met with the level of urgency or concern that I expected. Because of my personal experience and the complications I have lived with since this procedure, I would strongly encourage anyone considering a vasectomy -- particularly with this provider -- to carefully research the risks and weigh their options thoroughly before proceeding. For me, this procedure resulted in long-term physical and financial consequences that I continue to deal with today.

Every visit has been an opportunity that Dr. Fishman took to answer all questions, inform me adequately of critical information, encourage/ reassure and uplift me, and he is a brilliant surgeon! Dr. Fishman is so genuine and kind- he is just the best doctor anyone could hope for and he exceeds all of my expectations!! Dr. Fisherman is also a very effective communicator and ensures that he relays the most poignant information that the patient is going to need. Dr. De Leo is also superb and phenomenal. I will never ever forget her kindness as she truly went above and beyond and out of her way to help me in the hospital!! It is obvious that Dr. Fishman truly loves his patients and loves what he does- Dr De Leo too! Please ensure they they receive a bonus, a raise or some sort of commendation for the care they provide at such a critical time in womens' lives. Please know that you really have a gold mine in these unparalleled physicians!! I write this with tears in my eyes as I am beyond grateful!! I will never in my life forget Dr. Fishman and Dr. De Leo as well. Now regarding the office: the staff are all very nice, there is always ample parking, and the wait times are generally not long. The bathrooms are always clean too and likewise the exam rooms. The phone staff for appointments are also professional and helpful and there are no long, wait times on the phone. There is also a very efficient process for filling out forms online prior to the visit as well! I am very selective and particular about medical care being in the medical field myself, but I can say that without any reservation whatsoever, I highly recommend this practice to all!!

My wife had an IUD placed on February 3rd, and at her two-week follow-up appointment, we were told it had been inserted incorrectly and would need to be removed. Since the procedure, she has experienced ongoing bleeding, cramping, and significant pain. We were given two options for removal, either in-office with laughing gas or at the hospital under full anesthesia, both requiring a camera-guided procedure. We were told to take time to consider and simply call back to schedule when ready. When we did call back, the office claimed to have no record of this plan. We requested a call from the doctor to clarify, which never happened. Over the next three weeks, we made multiple attempts to get answers and schedule the necessary procedure, all without success. It was only after escalating the situation to the office manager and expressing serious concern about pursuing legal action, that we finally received a callback. Within 10 minutes, they were suddenly able to schedule an appointment. However, we were then told the earliest available slot is still a week away. Given the ongoing pain and complications my wife is experiencing, being asked to wait even longer is unacceptable. The lack of communication, poor record-keeping, and delay in care have been extremely disappointing. Patients dealing with complications deserve timely, responsive, and attentive care, this experience has been the opposite.
