If there was a way to give a business (six stars), or even more, I would give that rating here…read more My wife and I were dealing with a nightmare situation. We bought a defective dishwasher, which destroyed the hardwood floor in our kitchen. The manufacturer belligerently gave us the runaround for nine months. We had everything ready and waiting... but nothing. Through that time, we touched base with the ServiceMaster team to let them know we weren't ghosting them. They were kind and patient. Finally we gave up and filed a homeowner's claim, and Jordan and Erin were able to work with State Farm to get them everything they needed. They were patient with us and, when we were really unsure of what flooring to go with, dropped off two different rounds of samples. Finally, with everything set up, the installers came and demo'd everything and started laying the new floor on Monday -finishing early Tuesday afternoon We are blown away. Not only has everyone from ServiceMaster been friendly, they literally make us feel like family. These are people you should want to do business with. Their flooring people? Fantastic! They showed such care in everything that they did and worked to lessen the disruption caused by having flooring put in while I was working downstairs. Not only were they a pleasure to deal with, but I have a deep sense of respect for their work ethic. In closing, my wife and I are profoundly grateful to the entire ServiceMaster family. We already have other jobs that we need to have done that we are getting estimates on. You will NOT be disappointed!

I was sent updates throughout the time work was being done and had a good experience in terms of swift communication. I was going to get multiple quotes but due to the lack of timely communication from other contractors I went with Heartland! The bathroom was tiled and grouted it turned out even and Symmetric. Very pleased with how it turned out There was an opening between the bedroom and bathroom left over from the removal of a small closet. The new wall installed was finished to match the texturing of our bedroom! Lastly, we needed a new doorway cut out in our bedroom wall for a closet. The doorway is very nicely finished, clearly he took time on the installation. My only complaint is there was no threshold installed but as it is a closet door that's not a big deal. The thing I am most pleased about is there was some pre existing drywall damage in the bathroom. It was near where the new wall way getting installed. The damage was a 3" gap along the wall and ceiling. To my surprise that got repaired courtesy of Heartland. I was not expecting this to get repaired as it was not there during the initial quoting process. While getting a little extra drywall repaired may seem like something to be shrugged off, I think it attests to the overall character, and work quality that that Heartland offers. I would definitely call him again should I need any more work done!

Movers Beware! The only reason I rated them a 2 instead of 1 is because of the company rep, Grace,…read morewho admitted they double-booked on the day I moved. She was apologetic and motivated to make it right. Movers arrived at 5:30pm instead of 10:30am. Showed up with a 15' truck instead of 20', causing us to make 2 trips. I had pre packed and wrapped EVERYTHING and separated the garage items from the house items. Instead of packing all garage items or all house items at the same time, the movers decided to mix. I'm still carrying boxes back and forth between the house and garage, which are located 60 feet apart. One of the 3 movers suffered from heat exhaustion and checked out for an hour while the work continued. Understandable but confused why the company still wanted to charge me for that worker's time. The biggest surprise was never hearing from Grace's supervisor all day to apologize, explain, assist. Grace deserves better and so did I.

I live out of state and have no way to see the headstone for my beloved daughter and they refuse to help me. My mother is in a nursing home, my stepdad is blind, my oldest son who lives there is disabled and doesn't drive. They didn't tell me that I had no rights when I paid the down payment and paid the final bill. These people have no compassion at all. I lost my daughter at the age of 36 unexpectedly from a massive stroke. She left two young children. And these people tell me I have no right to see her headstone because my name wasn't on the contract? Her husband won't help because I wouldn't give him money that was donated by my friends and family that I later put into a trust for his children. To him my daughter was a possession to fight over. All I wanted was some pictures of her headstone and all Caldwell would tell me is "His name is on the contract and that's just the way it is." I hope none of my relatives use this place.
