Drivers are patient and really deserve a medal for everything they go through. I've seen some crazy things on the buses. Memphis is sweltering! Like... Really, really hot! So my crew and I decided that instead of walking…read more(and randomly Uber'ing) we should opt for public transportation instead! It made sense as we were floating and really weren't sure where we wanted to go. We left our cars parked downtown, we asked for the best route to see the main hot spots in Memphis (outside of downtown) and jumped on a bus. What a novel idea! (Can't say it was mine) We had our very own hop-on-hop-off tour, and it was fairly easy and hassle free once we got our bus card. (Who knew?!) Most importantly, there was cold AC so I didn't have risk my face melting off or a heat stroke. We were worry free riders and I didn't have to use my GPS, leaving me more time for selfies, social media posts, and talking with our friends! We simply looked out of the window (asked our driver for stop recommendations) and got off if we felt the urge. Sweet deal, right?! I'm not a bus expert by any means, but the Memphis Area Transit Authority served us well!
