After several years as their client I have moved on to another firm providing the same services (and more) at lower cost. If you choose to hire them, recommend staying on top of them about deadlines/deliverables, having them invoice you frequently and in detail, requiring them to get your approval in advance on any potentially expensive work they consider to be outside the scope of what you are already paying them for, not letting them talk themselves up too much (or talk down to you), and augmenting them with subject-matter specialists for any work that is highly complex and outside the scope of general-purpose tax return prep.

I am so tired of dealing with this insurance provider and the staff at this location. I have had to…read moredeal with unexplained and unexpected premium increases, errors and delays in billing, and was not informed by my insurer when someone filed a claim against me. Tying to get the exact information you want (quote, deductible changes) via email communication or over the phone is near impossible, despite spelling out exactly what information you are requesting at the initial request. This company seems to prefer doing business face-to-face, which is not what I am looking for in an insurance provider. I want someone who can answer my questions quickly, succinctly, and via email, if needed. I finally got tired of paying too much for auto/renter's insurance and dealing with bullsh*t, and found a broker who helped me find a new provider in addition to assisting with the cancellation of my State Farm policies. It's been nearly three weeks since I switched, and State Farm still hasn't cancelled ALL of my policies (only 1 of 3). Despite emails and phone calls by my new insurance broker, Stan Zorn and his wife Peggy who works his reception area, have not to my knowledge, processed this seemingly simple task, though admit to having received the cancellation request. This is unbelievable in terms of efficiency or productivity (or lack thereof). Bottom line: FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER! Even a talking lizard would probably be a better option.
