The park is reasonably sized, and has a great selection of seats available for reasonable prices. In addition, everything is reasonably priced for a nice outing at the baseball game; and the facilities are clean and taken care of. read more

I left the game in the 4th inning due to disrupting guys sitting behind us. They talked about everything but baseball and NEVER STOPPED TALKING. I heard about high school, politics, computers, Roku, bodily illness, world population and on and on. We finally turned around and asked them to please hold it down. One of the guys understood but the other did not. After getting a little heated they moved down a few seats, but still rambled. Finally, the people, whose seats they moved to, arrived. They moved back behind us and amplified, what I could only guess was an attack on us. I finally went to guest services and complained. After 30 minutes, a security woman came and tried talking to them, but they claimed they were season ticket holders and I was the problem. So, she asked if we wanted to move. I did. I left the game and will NEVER set foot in that place, again. read more

I attended a game this week. So disappointed in the lack of customer focus of this field. When I got there a woman customer service representative immediately looked at me and said, "your purse isn't going to fit." It was hanging off my shoulder at the time and I was 5 feet away. She proceeded to take my purse and squished it onto the table on top of a pre-cut piece of cardboard. Upon squishing out the purse and maneuvering the purse on the cut-out, the top zipper was over the cut-out. Mind you you could see the cut-out cardboard around the other 3 sides. She told me I couldn't enter the stadium. I told her it fit, which was obvious, but she had in her mind it wasn't. Told me to take the purse to my car. We were from out of town and walked from the hotel so I didn't have a car. She stated all I could do was use the lockers and turned away from me. Extremely rude behavior. I then had to take the 3 items in my purse (wallet, eyeglass case, and cell phone) and place a now empty purse in the locker(and it was costing me $8 to store an empty purse.) The locker didn't work at first, and a security guard had to call a special security guard over, to assist me. I then had to juggle my wallet, glass case and cell phone all night in my hands. When I was seated I had to place them on the cement ground (lovely) so I could eat. I had asked "Miss Purse Congeniality" if she had a bag I could place my items in and abruptly I was told "NO." Between the purse issue, the locker issue, and waiting for the "guy who deals with the lockers," we finally were allowed in the park, one hour after we arrived. Then we waited in the concession lines only to be told we can't pay with cash. We had to go and buy play money which then we could buy concessions. Had to walk the concourse looking for the place to get the play money and then again wait in the concession line. We were then on our way to our Premium Executive Seats, and balancing my purse contents and food, dropped my phone down the stairs, in which it was damaged. When we left we had some unused play money and stopped to cash it back. We were then told that they don't refund the money. We could use it the next time we came to a game. Here's the thing......we are never coming back with treatment like this. read more

Go Nuts! I absolutely love being able to stop in to Jackson Field to enjoy a Lansing Lugnuts game or even a concert! It is a great local venue and the staff are always incredibly kind. Shout out to Kelly who always works the kids club desk. She is incredibly helpful and a cheerful face to see when we are around for a game. Should out to Mark our favorite bartender as well! Despite the fact a bird took a shit right on my favourite Lugnuts shirt this place hasn't lost any of it's charm! Ive been coming here since it was called Oldsmobile Park (2009) and I enjoy it everytime. It's small but cozy, a nice view of the capital and also very close to the MSU Campus. Cheap tickets and good seats help as well and I love the ticket designs too. Players are very friendly and sign autographs all the time and though the apartments past the outfield block the view it's definitely unique. Make sure to stay alert as a ball most likely will find you as through the years I've managed to catch 5 baseballs here! The last thing I have to say is that the Mascot Big Lug is a lot of fun as he'll stop by and give out high fives throughout the game. All in all the Lansing Lugnuts stadium is pretty high scale for a Class A minor league ballpark! read more

Great downtown location, which allows visitors to hit one of the many surrounding bars and restaurants to make a full evening of it. As with most minor league parks, seating close to the field is also appreciated. Food could stand to be better though. It's ok in the main area (could use more MI beer), but simply inedible at the Pepsi Porch. In general, because of the seating close to the field and spirit with which the game is played, I find minor league games even more fun to watch than major league games. Improvements in the food and beer selection are the single factor that would take my rating to five stars. read more

I've now visited 23 baseball stadiums this summer and this one might be great for the area, but I wasn't all that impressed with it. Sure they have some decent food options, and some entertainment here and there, but compared to other stadiums (even in the same league) there was just something lacking in Lansing. The food options were pretty boring, the PA announcer wasn't exciting at all, she actually made the game even more boring than it is, and the staff just wasn't overly friendly. If you go to 1 game a season, you might not notice these things....but when you compare it on a broad scale, there are so many ways that this park can be improved with small details. Would I go again if I was in Lansing, absolutely.....but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Oldsmobile Park is almost as big a Lansing landmark as the capital building. Rooted as the catalyst for the revitalization of downtown, and a blueprint for integrating a successful minor league sports team into the community, the Lansing Lugnuts and Oldsmobile Park has become a staple of middle Michigan. The venue has become as much a community center as baseball park, businesses throw picnics here, they have events for kids, sometimes even concerts. One of the greatest additions to summer is 'Thirsty Thursday' games with dirt cheap beer specials. There is not a single bad seat in the place, with cheap tickets and a clean and updated facility.... its a favorite.... and I don't even like baseball! read more

I've been here so many times and I've enjoyed it every time Something new always happens here every time I come (for better or for worse) I definitely recommend the burritos here they are great This would of been 5 stars had it not been for the last time I went where security almost kicked me out for "inappropriate language" from someone who accused. Me from all the way on the other side of the stadium where I never was at . All in all it still is a fun experience to have and it is a perfect place if you want to try and get a ball.
