It's so much a part of our road trips that we don't even think or talk about stopping there - we just do. I even recommended it to someone recently and after stopping there she said, wow, that was a really nice stop! So anyway, thought I'd share. Happy trails!

This particular Pilot Travel Center was certainly on the low end of the scale. The card readers didn't work at the pumps. The bathrooms were a mess, and without enough employees working the cash registers the line quickly backed up into the nearby aisles. So they've got gas if you need it, but it comes with a side of aggravation. But maybe they were just having a bad day. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them two stars instead of just one.

I was overcharged for an item and when i brought it to Sams attention. She had the nerve to say "F you" and storm off, as if its MY fault she can't do math. To make it worse the store manager stood there like a deer in headlights, didn't apologize for her employees behavior, or try to make it better. The fact that Sam felt comfortable enough to talk to a customer that way will tell you all you need to know about this store. If I didn't know better, Id think the two if them are skimming dollars from customers hoping the customer doesn't notice and the go home with money in their pocket. Corporate has been notified and i hope they clean this place up with new management and employees because this is disgusting behavior when people are appendix their hard earned money.
