She also told me that she would send me a menu. I gave her my email address and ensured that she had the correct email address. After not receiving an email with the menu after one day, I called and left her a voicemail just to ensure that it was sent. In spite of that, I didn't get a phone call back. Then, I waited until later in the week to follow up via email. The person even ignored my email. The fact that I was ignored is really disheartening because I wanted to celebrate my upcoming milestone birthday there. I've reached out to them years ago, and whoever helped me was so accommodating. I even went up there to tour the place. I don't understand what happened this time.

In an age where dining out is as much a luxury as it is a necessity, the unspoken pact between…read morerestaurant and patron teeters on a simple truth: value should mirror cost. The sizzle of a steak on the grill, the tender flake of fresh fish, the hearty richness of pork or veal--these are not mere ingredients but promises of satisfaction, especially when the bill climbs higher. Yet too often, plates arrive with portions that whisper rather than proclaim, leaving diners to wonder where their money went. A sliver of beef drowned in sauce, a scant scattering of seafood atop a mound of rice--it's not enough. Not for the price, not for the hunger, not for the expectation. Restaurants, in their pursuit of profit or prestige, must remember the primal joy of a meal that fills both belly and soul, where protein reigns generous and bold. Beef that spills over the edge, pork that demands a second bite, fish and seafood piled high--these are the markers of a fair exchange. This is a call to the kitchens of the world: let the portions rise to meet the price, and let the proteins lead the charge, for in abundance lies loyalty, and in fairness, trust.
