One of the oldest and best liquor stores in town. Great selections of beers, wine coolers, ciders in the chiller. Pretty good selection of domestic and imported beers, along with smaller batch craft beers. I'm not a big wine drinker but they have a all sorts of high-falutin names for all price points, but also carry the cheap, fruity varieties I drink. I like the tastings they've been hosting on Friday evenings -- gives me a chance to try new things. I don't know how their prices compare to other places, because I don't shop around -- I'm that happy with Jack's. Staff is quirky, friendly and knowledgeable. I won't go anywhere else. read more

The best place in town for booze. If you're looking for it, they will try and get it for you. The staff are amazing and crazy helpful. Prices are normal for a liqour store, and they even have some.of the rarer stuff. Plus, their craft beer guy is fantastic and has a great selection of beer. I love this store. read more

I love Jack's Package Store. Mountain Home is a small town in the Bible belt so I didn't have any expectations going into this place. My dad brought me by so that I could help him choose a nice bottle of wine when he was having company. I was happily surprised with the selections. This is not BevMo or Binny's, who besides Don would want that anyway.... This is a privately owned and consciously run establishment. They offered my dad a veterans discount which wasn't necessary but certainly appreciated. I asked about a popular moonshine that my brother was interested in and though it wasn't there they were able to direct me to some other single batch selections. I found the pricing slightly lower then what I was expecting and the service was outstanding. Yes, there was room for more stock on the shelves. What you are purchasing here at Jack's isn't just the usual suspects of MGD and Budweiser; but as with any small privately owned business you are getting a personal shopper.
