We had both our wedding ceremony and reception upstairs in the grand ballroom with less than two hours during our cocktail hour to reset the room and the opera house staff did an excellent job transitioning the room during this time. Needless to say, the setup for both the ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was wonderful about communicating what to expect with us beforehand and being present and helpful, yet unobtrusive, throughout our wedding day. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day at the Grand Ledge Opera House!

He was incredibly disrespectful the entire night, and it's unfortunate that this wedding was tainted by someone with such a poor attitude. However, I can recommend their wine flight and their cider. Everything I tried was very good. Meg did a great job making recommendations. She did a fabulous job making everyone feel welcome. Highly recommend stopping by for one drink at the very least. Pick up a bottle or two to take home with you!

The setup is similar to 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids but on a much smaller scale. I am not sure when they opened in relation to when my event was but a lot of the workers just seemed kinda confused and not sure how to answer questions. Me and my friend had seats on the balcony/loft and we noticed people coming upstairs to look for the seats and realizing their seats didn't exist. The workers then started setting up more seats. Super weird. If you're not in the front row on the balcony then you probs won't be seeing much! I would recommend floor seats. The other thing I would like to note is the location of the bathroom upstairs. Nice that they are close by but annoying seeing the light all night as people continuously open and close the door. Big positive was how easy it was to exit at the end of the night. Very quick!

MSU Summer Circle Theatre is an annual tradition each June. Plays are performed rain or shine…read more (unless weather is really threatening), at an outdoor theatre on the banks of the Red Cedar. Plays run Wednesdays through Saturday at 8:00. Some stadium type seating is available but it is more fun to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Picnic baskets are welcome. Concessions are available also. The one thing I'd like to point out the most though is that this is a place and build for CHILDREN, and there was a giant pride flag flying in the front of the building. I do not believe it's necessary in the slightest to show ones alliance or stance with a flag that represents sexuality. People can do what they want with their own lives and live and let live if no one hurts anyone. But displaying such a sign at a children science center is just not necessary.
