This is your fairly standard cafe, the place is slightly up from a greasy spoon, with pretty decent tea & coffee, soups, with a range of wraps, sandwiches, cakes, scones and a few hot main meals. When we initially sat down we took a small table for three only to be sort of almost but not quite politely told to move to a two seater smaller table as we were two. The claim was that three people would be coming in shortly. The fact was that two people did come in, not three and they sat there without issue. It's a small place with no spare space and its like being squeezed into the front living room of a small domestic house. We competed with other diners, a large upright fridge, and a front counter for this scarce space. Not the place for intimate discussion nor to stretch your legs. The one thing this place has going for it is the value for money. When I go and it's occasionally I get the soup & sandwich deal around 6 euro so nothing great about it, but very little poor about it, staff with a tad of poor attitude and otherwise alright. Loo up a narrow stairwell so if you are disabled don't bother, go somewhere else. read more
