I was uneasy during the entire process as there was an overall apathy towards my case. Someone was supposed to call me back twice in one week but did not. I signed the agreement to pay a reduced fine which is submitted to the court by the attorney. When I contacted the court I was told the attorney has not submitted the agreement and that was truly frustrating. In the final analysis, hiring this lawyer to "handle my ticket" was a frustration and something I could have done myself. Not worth it. I was willing to pay him his hourly rate to make sure for one the Dallas Police Department creates a proper police report and begins a proper investigation taking all the evidence into account. He agreed that both organizations through their history have had bias against minorities and have refused to investigate and prosecute when minorities have been victims of crimes.
