I've been to this location before and they were not pleasant visits due to extremely poor service and equipment issues. Since I was traveling I-70 this year, I decided to give it another try. First visit the service was fast and efficient, and my food was great. On the way home I stopped again and had an equally good experience. And I was amazed when the manager came up and asked if everything was good! I told him I was impressed by the improvements in service and we had a nice talk. He said they were going to get a renovation in the near future but I had no problem with the current ambiance. It is great to see a Jack in the Box turn itself around. So many in Missouri and Tennessee have deteriorated or closed, so having a good one to stop at is appreciated. Also like that is easily accessible from I-70 east or best bound. read more

Worst FAST FOOD restaurant we have been to. Went there at 7:15 pm and both doors were locked, had to go to the drive through where the speaker said to go to the window. Once we ordered there we had to pull around and wait for our food, which took another 25 minutes to wait on it. I came through the drive thru on 2/9/18. The receipt says 9:13 pm. The ticket number is 103. I actually pulled into the drive thru at 9:03 and left at 9:27. I was asked to wait to order. There was 1 car in the drive thru ahead of me, so I didn't understand why, but sure, I'll wait. Two minutes later, I'm asked for my order. I ordered 2 grilled stacked cheeseburger munchie meals, a prime rib cheese steak, a spicy siracha burger, and a sourdough jack meal. My total was $31.68. After everything I ordered, without asking me what drink I wanted with the meals, I was asked "is that it?" I finally leave the drive thru, and head home. I get home to find: 1. The grilled stacked cheeseburgers have no sauce on them what so ever. No cheese sauce. No ranch. The lettuce looks like it's been on a hot burger for hours, and the tomatoes are complete mush. The meat is overcooked and dry. 2. There is no sauce on the sourdough jack. None. The meat is also overcooked and dry. The tomatoes are complete mush. 3. The fries are all cold and hard (I live 3 minutes away). 4. The tacos have sauce EVERYWHERE. They are almost swimming in sauce in their bags. I call the store. Scott answers the phone and says he's the manager. I start telling him about the grilled cheeseburgers, and he interrupts me with "do you have your receipt?" I tell him I wasn't handed one, but let me look in my husband's bag. He tells me that he "always asks if you want a receipt." Ok. We'll you didn't ask me. He gets an attitude, and again states that he always asks. Me: Ok. You didn't. Are you the store manager? Him: No, but I'll replace them. Me: What is your store managers name, and when will they be working? Him: Scott and in the morning. I said I'd replace them. Me: I thought your name was Scott. Him: It is. He's a different Scott. No. I need to get out of the drive thru. There are no cars in the drive thru, but I'm messing up their time because they can't clear it until I get out of the drive thru. They surely didn't care about their times last night when it took over 20 minutes for me to get food, but now they matter. Ok. The store manager shows up about 10 minutes later and comes out to speak to me. His name is Scott. He looks just like the guy who was working with the Asian kid last night. Neither of them had any speed to them at all. Me: You were working last night. Him: No. I was in Wentzville. I just got that store too. Me: I'm pretty sure you were here when I came through last night. Him: No. I was in Wentzville. Me: I came through last night about 9 and I saw you. Him: I left here at 730 last night. There's another guy that looks like me but he has hair and I don't. (Takes his hat off & puts it back on. He is also dripping with attitude from here on out.) Me: Ok. Nevermind. What is your corporate number? Obviously this isn't going anywhere. Him: It's right up there. Me: Ok. What is it? Him: You can get it yourself. Me: Excuse me? Him: You can get it yourself. While at a cross roads to choose between various fast food resturaunts, I made the superb decision to go to Jack in the Box. I was from out of town, so I have never tasted the life changing flavors that arose from Jack in the Box. I ordered a burger, multiple tacos, and curly fries; and all of it was excellent. Not only was the food delicious, but it came at an affordable cost. After eating my entree and being pleased, I decided to order a few items off of the excellent list of deserts. When I received my milkshake, I was already blown away by the presentation. After taking a sip of it my mind became overwhelmed by the combination of the texture and taste. It was perfect. Thick but not too thick so that the creamy drink would easily come through the straw. Immediately after I tasted the churro, this was not a 3 day old churro you would recieve at taco bell. It was a fresh churro straight out of the fryer, yet it was not scorching hot like you would imagine. It had the perfect temperature and texture along with excellent taste. All of this comes with a very friendly staff, who my party and I had to give a round of applause to after our meal. Even if Yelp did offer 6 stars, it still would not be enough. read more

The fact that this establishment has only one star is complete and utter blasphemy. As a virgin to the utopia that is Jack in the Box, I entered the facility with incredibly conservative expectations. I came to realize that I was hibernating on the franchise. I strolled into this specific Jack in the Box with a band of friends that were quickly transformed to my brothers as we left the establishment. Upon arrival we were greeted by a truly uplifting and compassionate cashier who gave me beautiful advice on what to order. The cheeseburger was easily the most scrumptious burger I've encountered in the fast food industry. The tacos were incredible and every bite offered a new experience. The curly fries lived up to the hype of the rest of the meal and the dessert was borderline holy. The churros were warm and delightful and the milkshake consisted of a whip cream that can only be described as something created by Jesus himself. The atmosphere was clean and refreshing and the presentation was spotless. Leaving the restaurant was no easy task and as I continue my long ride home, I am left dreaming of my next opportunity to experience the fast food nirvana that is Jack in the Box. read more
