We had a nice conversation about Korean and American food and we both giggled at the differences between the two cuisines. I have been a fan of Asian cuisine for several years now. I ordered a cheesy spicy chicken, It came out fast. Kim insisted I have some water and gave me a bottle of it. I'm glad she did, as the cheesy spicy chicken lives up to its spiciness. The portion is big enough for two meals. The hot pepper dominates, but the cabbage and chicken also stand out. The wall decor includes photographs of Korean landscapes and villages. The dining area otherwise is simple, with a mostly white color dominating. There are two non-gender specific bathrooms up front. I enjoyed my meal. I will try the spicy chicken tacos next. Kim offered me some Korean coffee after my meal, but I declined as I only drink coffee in the morning and I didn't want to be up all night, but she insisted I take some instant Korean coffee with me. "You must try this with milk!" Kim said as she handed me four packs of Maxim coffee, "my husband uses four of these per 16 ounces." Apparently, the order still gets dumped on your door step without any notification! I know, right?? How f'ed up is that? Turns out all of that quality food just goes to waste and the unknowing recipient of said order is wasted and confused! Everybody in the apartment complex is up-in-arms, in a tizzy! It was a big burrito and I ate it all. It was tasty and mild. I sat against the window as I don't like high-top tables. I wanted to charge my phone, only to discover there are no AC outlets anywhere in the dining area. Thus is a tactic to keep people from loitering. One thing I do like are the four choices of organic cane-sugared flavored sweet drinks. I had originally ordered iced tea, but they were out of tea so I explored the four flavors: Lemonade with tumeric, Watermelon Limeade, Manderin aqua fresca with cardamon and turmeric (my favorite), and Berry agua fresca with strawberry, pomegranate and apple cider vinegar. There is an outdoor patio here that is mostly shades. This place does a lot of to-go meals.
