I ordered chicken strips, not nuggets... They are SO SMALL and dry, the 2 extra small pieces don't make up for the 5 pieces regular size I ordered. Service was decent tho. read more

READ: shady bait and switch pricing on orders. I generally like this location and staff service and I also generally appreciate their recent remodel and upgrade to the exterior building. It looks really nice at night lit up. BUT.. what I don't appreciate is ordering and being asked by the staff (who I'm told are only following their bosses or managers orders) if I want a "regular sized" meal when in reality, they're asking you to upgrade to the larger size. When they say "regular", that doesn't mean the combo price you see on the menu. What is reflected in the menu size is actually a "small". On the menu my combo was $12.19 on the menu but after I stated "regular" on my order it suddenly changed to $12.99 on the screen, which is easy to miss if you're not paying attention. My review is 1.5 stars which I find to be a bad/sleezy bait and switch tactic which causes an almost $1 increase in price without you even knowing it. This is a shady business practice and very disingenuous for the business to do. Also I never received a receipt from this location which is probably how they get away with this. You've all been warned. read more

Ordered online pick up, requested sauces in order but gave me nothing. Food was just ok and staff was decent.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. Last 3 times that we've gone through the drive thru the tacos have been terrible!! Cold like they just took them out of the freezer!! And if I tried to call message keeps saying that they are busy!!! This place really sucks!! Don't waste your money or time going to this jack in the box!!! read more

Wanted to get a snack after swimming. No one at the sales register for over 10 minutes... :(

Lady at counter tonight was awesome! Great service. I'll be back. Many thanks. See you again soon.

Hmmm! I like the chili on this new burger. Even though I had to conduct some other business. My food is still very warm 40 min. Later sweet! The burger is actually good. The chili rich cheese in flavors. For $5.99 with a fry and drink nice bargain. I would Actually paid more. Thanks Jack read more

Why does this jack in a box give you a super small cup when you order a regular drink with no ice? And why is the food so damn greasy and why is it that they limit you on how many sauces you get? Like Wth man food costs have gone up significantly and btw this location charges way more for a large smoothie then the other ones? Legit the jack in the box over on marina is doing it right they give you as many sauces as you like and they don't give you a super small cup when you order a regular drink with no ice! Owner must be super stingy and does not consider his customers at all penny pinching at every corner! read more

Terrible service. Very stingy. They won't give you ketchup or any sauce when you order a complete meal. That should be included in a meal automatically without needing to ask. That's management issues. read more

Great service amazing food, me and my family are happy. Great parking lot with shady spots.

This Jack in the Box is very stingy. They will not give any ketchup or source. And they never give you any nakins. You have to ask them for it every single time. And they will give you one, one nakin. Ridiculous! read more

Jack in the Box is what they are. A fast food shop featuring burgers, deep fried food and drinks. Having said that, all Jack in the Box location service level vary greatly. FIVE starts for this Jack in the Box!!! This store consistently (consistently is the key) gets me though the drive through faster AND accurately as much as any Jack in the Box I've ever been to. Isn't that the key for success? I think so! read more

Contemptibly awful food. Their burgers whatever is used as meat tastes like stewed tanbark. Their fries taste like the rotten raw part of the potato. It is a completely inedible heap of junk that they are serving while having the audacity to charge sky-high prices for smaller pieces of that bundle of FILLER they have in there. Definitely not worth your money. read more

Jack in the Box - a sign on the door of a restaurant - Burgers Near Me - San Leandro, California

I don't know what happened to this location but it's gotten so bad recently. I ask for one item removed from my sandwich and get into an segueing match with the "cook" by proxy of the window worker. Asshole gives me a bacon cheese untoasted sandwich when all I asked for was "no egg". Cook says the 2 items he didn't add don't come on the sandwich (they're pictured on the damn menu). This review is for the night crew (approx 9pm) All the morning staff I've encountered I'd give 5-stars too read more

WOW. I got charged $23.83 for 4 crispy chicken sandwich and 4 jr bacon cheeseburgers!!! We're talking small sandwiches only! I only noticed because this person working the drive thru didn't put receipt in the bag. So I checked my bank app, then that's when I noticed. Shadyyyy AF. I was already home and didn't want to drive back considering there's power outage at the time I wrote this review! Anyway never again lol read more

Boy this place has gone down hill. I used to eat here every night because money was tight, moved away then came back and tried a burger and was sick all night. My buddy got a burger the other day and got sick from it as well. Whoever owns this franchise, YOU NEED TO DO SOMETHING BEFORE YOU GET SHUT DOWN. As for anyone eating here, all ill say is be careful. I was in line at the drive-Thru for 45 minutes and when I finally got to order they said they couldn't take any more orders because they ran out of food. I don't understand. Not only did they deny to serve me and my family but had a horrible attitude and said I had to leave. read more

The service is a bit slow, but the employees tend to be nice and have never messed up my order, pretty good for a fast food place

A Little Disappointing I ate somewhere else right before I went here (normally double duty for me means taking on 2 of my hookers at once), but I still ordered a lot. I went here with my family on Saturday. Right when we entered, I noticed that there was a line for the women's restroom. It was kind of funny (this woman looked at me with a constipated expression on her face- http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_vCVu21KqZ7Q/Sxt7dZEqa0I/AAAAAAAAJSY/c1mj_9gYUEc/s800/kareena+toilet.jpg). It's nice inside, but too cramped, especially near the counter (because it was a Saturday, I wasn't surprised that there was a steady stream of customers). Our cashier was friendly, but hard of hearing. She was also a bit dense. I was impressed by the employees in general, though. Everyone worked hard and well together (well, not the guys who stabbed each other to death, but whatever). We only had to wait about 3 minutes for our food. I was annoyed that I had to ask for Barbecue Sauce (I had to squeeze by someone and wait a minute at the counter). The seating capacity here is over 60. The tables and chairs are functional, like me on some days (this is a good day, apparently). The parking lot is a PITA to deal with. It has to do with the design of the shopping center. After you make a purchase, you can take a survey "and receive 2 Free Tacos" (I would provide more info, but I was given a very faded receipt). There was a loud and aggressive family near us. I was glad when they piped down. My son Joshua made a mess on the floor. My wife took him outside when he began lighting flares (I think he wanted a closer look at the mess). Got food poisoning from eating here last night. First, they didn't give me my tacos (Again. This happened EVERY time and this time I forgot to check for them until after I got home UGH). Then, I could only eat 1 chicken strip because they tased off and the batter fell off the strips. Guess that was a good thing because 1.5 hours later I had FOOD POISONING from the chicken strip I ate. Why does this location ALWAYS, without exception, always disappoint?! Either they forget your items, give you wrong items, are so slow in the drive thru, or the inside is horribly dirty. Sometimes (most of the time) it's a combo of all that. I love JIB tacos but will not be eating at JIB anymore; this was the last straw. I honestly hope management does something to make this location better because everytime I come here there's something totally wrong with my visit and order read more

THE WORST!!! We barely come To this location already, but when there are no options. We do what we have to do. Last night 02/19/20 was the worst it's been. From drive-thru ordering to actually "getting our order" was just bad. Whoever team worked that evening were just high and non-personable whatsoever. We've started to question who would hire them in that state of mind. Not only was the guy we ordered from rude and seemed high, the lady who took our payment was just as high and really not thinking about what she was giving us. We asked for cup holders and she only put a drink in it-handed it to us-then gave the rest of the drinks individually. We were like "wtf?!" Then she forgot to give me my card back. They took a good 10 mins to provide us our orders and good thing I stopped to check the bags this time, because they forgot a couple burgers. The crazy part is, when we went inside to inform them, before we could say anything. The guy says, "Oh, your burgers right?" So you effin' know that already?! Why would you tell us that we had everything and know you were missing some items?! Wthell?!?! I've never been so angry. We usually give fast-food workers the benefit of the doubt and praise them for taking on the responsibility of working in that environment, especially the younger ones. BUT, this team got me, because they literally didn't care about how they represented themselves and their company and whoever owns it. They have cockroaches inside the restaurant too. It's getting sad. There's another team and gentleman that does well here, but he wasn't in last night for sure. He at least tries. Wish we had his name, because you can tell that guy tries and even when it gets hard. He's positive and you can tell he wants to do better and respects his customers. Also, at least my buns were toasted this time. 99% of the time they would be cold--right out of the bag. Dear Owner--please do some spring cleaning with your employees. Maybe the traffic, cleanliness and respect can develop some business and you can actually be proud of your business some day. read more

We went after a night out. I asked for a munchie box and they gave it to the car infront of me on accident. Thankfully they were my friends. Thankfully it was people i knew but I would not want that to happen anyone else. read more

Hadn't planned on writing a review for this place when I drove into the drive-thru. I was super hungry after an appointment with my son, so I pulled in and ordered some french fries for the munchkins and some mozzarella sticks for me. Since they always make the items to order, it takes a little time. After sitting at the window for a few minutes, the girl pulling orders realized that they accidentally put something else down than what I ordered. She and the manager were quite apologetic and quite effecient in taking care of me. They got the fries for my kids, gave me a drink along with the mistaken item and then brought my correct item out to the car a few minutes later. They also gave me a coupon for some $ off a future item. I wasn't even upset...cause hey...mistakes happen. They were very customer service oriented and what above and beyond to take care of making up for their mistake. Oh, BTW, the mistake item they gave me was the fried macaroni and cheese. Ick! read more

Pretty pricey for a fast food place but I gotta say, it does taste better. The sourdough sandwiches are definitely tastier than most fast food restaurants although they are twice the price. Love this place! Open 24 hours. Not too much to complain about.

I had never physically entered this Jack - I've driven thru since 2000, but after taking my sister on a sideshow of the 99c only store's humongoid, crowded, long-lined, madness, dont park your car near it - we needed a 99c two taco meal. Its actually nice inside. I wouldn't mind going on a date here. Decor for a fast food place kinda like how safeway upgraded itself. There's a ordering kiosk, which is nice and you can edit your items to add sauce, no tomatoes, etc. read more

I got an unhealthy, fast and unexpected dinner from Jack in the Crack last night, and it was so addicting, I decided to have an unhealthy lunch here today. Two days in a row! I forgot how much I liked their jalapeno poppers. So greasy and yummy. And dipping them in the House Buttermilk sauce is the kicker! Although I think I was too selfish with my order of 7 today because I barely finished my sirloin steak melt. And for the record, their new mini churros are the bomb!! They are addicting! Although, you must remember to eat them while they're still hot. Don't get the fried macaroni & cheese bites. They're gross. I think they would have tasted better if they chose a better batter to fry them in. We ended up giving them to the dog. read more

After seeing a Jack in the Box advertisement about 2 breakfast crossaints for just $3.5, I headed straight there the next morning! I went inside the place and saw no signs about it. Confused, I asked the cashier about the deal. He looked confused and said no they didn't have a deal like that. I asked again referring to TV commercial. Then he asked his manager, and she came to the computer screen and touched a button..and bam! There goes my 2 crossaints for $3.50. Score! The crossaints came out flat, which totally defeat the purpose of a buttery and fluffy crossaint. The taste was okay though. I think I was more disappointed at how not all the workers are aware of what's going on with deals and such. read more

I was out in San Leandro yesterday morning. Looked at my car clock, wow, its 10:00 am. I guess I'll get something to eat at Jack In The Box. I ordered my usual Supreme Croissant Combo Meal which I total love but I can't stand the has browns, with a Strawberry Fanta. Aww, I guess I'll try the 10 piece Churros with that. Aaah- - wrong answer! The churros were totally disgustingly greasy and mushy at the core, blaaah, yuck, with a capital Y. Oh, that Jack In The Box had several real cool posters that I have never seen plastered at J in the B until yesterday morning. Picture of Jack pointing at me and a really nice picture of cool refreshing glasses of soda all nicely lined up in a row. Beautiful advertisement posters. So if you know me, I had to get out and snap some pics of these cool posters and then I uploaded them to fB for friends viewing pleasure. read more
