I used to love Jack in the Box. It's been a few years since I've visited one. I decided to try their smash burger. This is NOT it!! There were no crispy bits, and the patty was all crumbly. I also couldn't leave as there was a car behind me in the drive thru lane, so I just got a Sourdough Jack also, JUSSST in case I didn't like their smash burger. Good thing I did! Pricing: WTH!? Their burgers alone cost over $10-12 now! Let's get this straight - This isn't a gourmet burger joint. There is no reason their burgers should cost more than an In-N-Out MEAL. I went through the drive thru at 3pm on a Monday. Not a busy time, but even still they failed to include my sons cheeseburger in his kids combo. In addition we ordered and paid for 2 2 taco orders, but they gave gave us 2 tacos total. We didn't notice the issue till I was home. I wouldn't have returned if the issue was just the tacos, but couldn't give only 1 of my 2 children their meals. We went to the Jack N The Box on 160th and Meridian in Puyallup WA today, we both ordered the triple jack, I ordered mine with light sauce, and my other half ordered his with no sauce and onions added. My burger tasted old and my curly fries were cold. I got wilted lettuce and my pickles were sour, like they were spoiled. My other half wanted everything on his burger but sauce and it was plain, with just the onions. No lettuce or pickles , although they weren't good on my burger, he ordered his the way he wanted it and paid for it, and even ordered the fries with no salt and they were salted. Establishment cannot get their door dash orders correct, has happened 2 times where the dasher has gotten to the window and they state the order isn't in their system, waited 2 and a half hours just to be told I wasn't getting my food and that I have to wait 5 days minimum to receive my refund. I wasn't sure if I could order lunch at that time so I asked and the order taker informed me the entire menu is 24hrs. I ordered a number 2 with coke. The order taker was very low toned and hard to hear. I preceeded to the window. The guy at the window, who was the same as the order taker, didn't enunciate his words very well and spoke in a low voice. I paid and asked for two BBQ sauces and he mumbled something but we were looking each other in the face so I assumed he understood what I asked. The cashier was having a bad day. She wasn't rude or anything, but things kept going wrong and she was very apologetic to customers. I hate giving bad reviews. Truly. But this needs to be said. The customer service is trash. We literally caught attitude for simply asking for a different drink! We were told ours was made already and basically "oh well". Any other fast food place I've gone to (or worked at) there has never been a problem with something so simple.
