Found this spot from Groupon. Great deal, $20 towards food and drink for two. Got so much food. Quesadillas were my favorite. Tacos were tasty. Very affordable menu and wide selection.

Not the West Palm Beach look and feel. I am sure it is a great local hangout but I was looking for more water view.

The flavors were rich, comforting, and straight-up authentic. You can taste the love in that food. And let's talk portions... they are NOT playing with you. I had enough leftovers to run it back for dinner later, and it still tasted just as good! The service? Super attentive and welcoming--exactly what you want when you're trying to sit, relax, and enjoy a good meal. And the decor is such a vibe--cute, cozy, and full of personality. Even the restroom had a unique touch... a big pot turned into a sink! Like... come on, that's creative Will I be back? Oh absolutely. Probably next month though, because it's about an hour drive for me--but listen... it's worth it. If you're ever in the area and craving real, authentic Dominican food... don't even think twice. Just go.

I haven't been to El Sabor Latino in a long time and the last time it was only for breakfast. They have expanded the restaurant tremendously since the last time I was there. I remember it was half the size. A lot more tables a lot more booths a really big bar in the back. It's a very large, welcoming, inviting space. My server was exceptionally friendly and she let me know it was taco Tuesday, so of course I had to get some. I went with two Birria tacos and two Carne Asada. All four of them were very yummy. For dinner, I decided to go with the camarones ajillo with the white rice, pinto beans, and tostones. My meal was exceptionally good. My only one little complaint would be that I didn't have enough white rice to use all that beautiful sauce and eat all those beautiful beans. I probably could've asked for another cup of but I wasn't sure if they were gonna charge me not. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Inside the restaurant is very spare and basic. You order and pay at the counter, and they bring your food to you at the table you've chosen. There's a lot of Spanish being spoken. We decided to share their sampler which was a choice of three tacos along with a side. We each chose one of for us alone and one to share. He got the lamb chorizo one. It was ground lamb with onion, mint, and cilantro. I got their grilled shrimp. It also had shredded cabbage, , guacamole, and cilantro. I chose to have the chipotle aioli on the side. I really liked my taco. To share, we went with the birria. This was very tender shredded beef, cheese, onion, and cilantro. It was a bit messy and drippy, but very good. I never even needed to dip it in the side "sauce" that it came with. The side was esquite salad. A pasta salad with corn and other veggies like small pieces of green and red peppers. There was more pasta than anything else. This was just okay. They had a number of Mexican sodas to drinks in various flavors, agua fresca, and horchata. They had a bar there also on the side of the room with "adult" beverages, but it didn't open until the evening. My favorite of the things we had? My shrimp taco. Prices were fairly reasonable. And food came out pretty fast considering that they were very busy.

It was jam packed -- all inside the flour tortilla -- with meat, rice, red beans, lettuce, pico, sour cream, and cheese. He said it was very good. My "cocktail" was excellent and refreshing. Tons of fresh delicious shrimp in a tomato/ketchup based sauce with pico and cilantro. Slices of ripe avocado were layered on top. I added a bit of sugar to cut the acid -- as I do to most tomato based dishes. I'd been craving this dish and was totally satisfied and more. We were too full for dessert, but next time I'd like to try their flan. We had good service. We will return.

They'll bring your tacos out to you. I got the pescadito taco. The fish has a nice and crisp batter, it stayed light and wasn't too oily. The fish was super flakey and moist. Everything on this taco worked so well together. The pickled red onion helps cut through the richness of the guac and fattiness of the batter on the fish. The pineapple is a burst of freshness and sweetness that live a up the whole thing while also balancing sharpness from the onion. If you can here hungry, you're probably putting away 4 tacos. If you are a normal functioning human and don't eat like it's your last meal, 2-3 will probably be good. So you're looking at $14-$28 on food. For me, on an empty stomach, this would be pushing $30 for tacos which IMO is a bit steep (and let's be honest, if I'm that hungry I might make a bad decision and get more than 4).
