1 hour for a haircut that turned out to be trash. I genuinely dont know what took him that long, the fade wasn't even blended at all.

BARBERSHOP CONFESSION: In truth, I went to this barbershop because I know the owner and he is one heck of a guy. It is reflected in his business . He recommended Samy and it's one of the best haircuts and styles I've received in a long time. The Attention to detail and comfort, Along with the finished product cannot be hyped up enough. Definitely giving it five stars and I will be a repeat customer. read more

Took my son to see Samy after looking at the reviews! He did not disappoint!!! He was meticulous, knowledgeable, and matched exactly the style I showed him for my son!!! Definitely will be taking him back there again!!! read more

I'm going to go over my experience with this place. I only came to get a fade, beard, and my eyebrows done and these peoples had the nerve to charge me $35. not including eyebrows. from what you only see in the picture!!!. Other than taking almost 2 hours to get my hair cut and the $35 charge everything else was OK.My advice to everybody Ask about the prices before you pay $35+ for something that you should only be paying $20 the most for read more

I have been coming to Jacas for over 3 years. this visit was by far my worst experience. my barber was Wes. he never asked my how I wanted my hair cut. I had to stop him and tell him. He never asked if I wanted scissor or Clipper. Again, I had to stop him and tell him I wan scissor. Without asking, he cut over 1" from my sideburns. And, for the first time in over 3 years my haircut was not finished with a razor. If this was my first time, I would never be returning to Jacas. Bill read more

I called the shop to reserve a haircut; someone said I needed to book online. So, I booked through their website for a barber; I came in the Moss Park store and learned the barber I am assigned left for the day. A different barber at the shop didn't offer an apology or to replace with another barber; hence, my experience wasn't a good one. read more

Went here last week to get a fade and beard trim. 1st time to this Barbershop. Always nervous when I go get a cut at a new shop. I have to say that I was really pleased with the experience. My Barber was Orlando Garcia and he did an excellent job. The fade was on point and the beard trim was exactly what I asked for. I would highly recommend this Barbershop and specifically this barber.. read more

Jaca's Barber + Shop - Orlando Garcia, barber - Barbers Near Me - Orlando, Florida

I got my haircut here as an out of towner who was looking for a specific cut. Came in with photos and a detailed vision of what I wanted. Jose was my barber. Cool guy with an interesting musical background and past. Great conversations. He's Dominican which instantly I knew he was legit at cutting hair (my last barber of 7 yrs was from DR). They have about 7-8 chairs not sure if everyone works the same time. I barely waited for a barber on Sunday at 3pm. The shop plays great Spanish music. You might find yourself moving a little to the beat from time to time. Got out of the chair with 10lbs less hair and a seriously fresh low bald fade comb over. Jose can cut and this spot is legit. Whoever put $$$ above for price range is crazy! I was charged $14 for my cut which is less than half back in SF. Keep killing out Jose. #keepinitphresh #barbernation read more

Fresh fade massage and shave thanks for hooking me up on vacation! Used Booksy for everything great experience

I came in here needing a cut really quickly when I got off later after work. Glad I did! Even though I didn't have an appointment I was welcomed and sat immediately by Orlando. The place gives off like a family owned workshop where everyone knows everyone and everyone treats each other like family. Orlando himself was very nice and told me plenty of entertaining stories as he cut my hair and told me about the other workers. The best part I have to say is that since not many barber places do this, they actually do cut with a razor blade. Orlando told me it's a practice that they personally are all trained on so something pretty different and cool that you don't find many times. I'd recommend this place to anyone around the research park and UCF area. read more

I have been in this place many times, but today I book an appointment to close to the time of appointment time and I was 10 min away, thinking that the barber could have that flexibility for a existing and constant customer for about one year, but he doesn't want to wait because he have extremely pack schedule, this is the point where your lunch or other things are more important that a permanent customer. When I change a barber I change also the place where I go. Thanks for your services guys. No names just a review. For further improvements read more

OMG!!! The worst barber in the world stay away from Saul !! He doesn't understand a trimming! TRIMMING!!!all I asked for it's simple. My beard is a bit long take a bit off and then clean the lines . What happened I came out with a different beard it's like night and day and bald spots!! It's not my first bad there but it's my last time there! New comers stay away from Saul! He's the beard killer!! read more

I normally go to Waterford All Star cuts but my regular stylist was out the day that I wanted to get a haircut so I decided to try something new. I saw all the great reviews on here so I decided to give Jaca's a try. This review is going to be mostly comparing Waterford All Star Cuts to Jaca's, since that's what I know. Upon calling, it sounded like the person on the phone was in a bit of a rush. I ended up being transferred to Hollywood, who set me up with an appointment within a few minutes with him. I walk in and could not tell if there was a receptionist there or not, however, Hollywood had told me where his station was on the phone and noticed me when I walked in so I walked over there. I also brought my 4 year old son in with me to get his hair cut. The experience is not as welcoming or kid friendly as Waterford All Star Cuts. There is no kids' play area like Waterford All Star Cuts, nor are there TVs for kids to watch. My son did become a bit bored waiting for his turn. Hollywood did a fantastic job with my haircut. I keep my hair a bit longer than most guys do so a lot of it was scissor cut. Hollywood also took the time to shave below my sideburns and the back of my neck, using warm shaving cream and a razor. However, one thing that they don't seem to do at Jaca's that they do at Waterford All Star Cuts is shampoo/condition afterwards. I ended up going home with a lot more loose hair than usual. However, I suppose this isn't a deal-breaker since I always end up going home and showering after getting a haircut anyways. This place doesn't seem to be very fancy, or have any special amenities, but if you're looking for a great haircut, in a casual no frills environment, this is a great place to go. Jaca's reminds me of the old-fashioned urban barber shops that you see on TV, where you go in and have a conversation with the barber. Probably not the most friendly place for very young children however, as there isn't anything to keep them occupied and some of the choices of words among the barbers aren't the most kid friendly either. I usually hate changing up my barber since I have had a lot of bad haircuts and when I find one that I like, I stick to the same one. Like it or not, people will judge you based on your appearance. Having a nice haircut helps your appearance and can help make a better impression on people. I was very happy that I didn't end up getting a bad haircut and glad that Hollywod did a great job, with such attention to detail for both myself and my son. Overall, I'm really pleased with the service and haircut that I received and can see why there are so many great reviews on here. read more

I came into this barbershop because it had great reviews on here (Yelp), and I was very DISAPPOINTED. I wanted a simple fohawk with a nice fade and what I got was far from it. The staff is very unprofessional and disorganized. They were cursing throughout my haircut, texting, talking to each other, and watching TV. I wasn't happy with my haircut and the barber didn't listen to what I wanted or what I was telling him. He finally finished cutting my hair and I went to pay with my debit card, and he told me they only accepted cash. Then told me I could use the ATM in the store and I tried to withdraw money and the machine didn't work. He then told me to go to the bar next door and get cash, which I did. Long story short, I am not coming back to this barber shop again. Its too much of an effort trying to get a good haricut in a dysfunctional place. Would not recommend for future customers!!!! read more

I don't do reviews for ANYTHING and honestly I can say is.... WOW! I walked in today for the first time and the barbers actually acknowledged my existence lol. Usually I walk in and people skip in front of you. But they actually do sign in for walk in. The barbers were really nice and family welcoming. They're very professionals. I'm usually scared of trying new barbers but Javier is my new barbers. These guys were awesome and I'm definitely going back again from now on. I was very please read more

Chaka has been my Barber for about 10yrs now. Amazing Service and Great Environment!! Keep up the Great Work!!

I had a great experience here first time in. I found Daniel on Instagram so I had already seen his work. He did a great job. Did exactly what I asked for. He started with only one side of my head to make sure that was what I was looking for/wanting. I was pleased so he finished up the other side. Cut the appropriate amount off the top that I told him I wanted. The hot towel shave was also a very nice. I will definitely be booking another apt here again. Also from what I can see, the other barbers in the shop also do good work. Check them out. read more

Awesome awesome barber shop i love coming here. Today I came in as a walk in with no appointment and they were super busy. I waited for about two hours and the new barber at Lake Nona talks non-stop. Somebody hit him with a tranquilizer dart. He's talked for two hours straight about some retarded stuff. I left for two hours and came back and he's still talking. LOL On a serious note I'm surprised that no ones hair cut got messed up. He was busier talking than he he was cutting. It's pretty poor for customer relations. read more

Used to come here all the time; they were awesome. I like the convenience of walk-ins and for the 10 months I used to come here, it was great maybe 15-20 minute wait max. Each time I come in now they only have 1-3 barbers and I wait 1-1.5 hours if I want a hair cut (a simple fade). The barbers make it habit as of late to be on the phone when they are cutting my hair, and have their music in the place "turned up to 11"; I hate to leave but this place really bites now. I'm writing this as I wait for my last hair cut from what used to be my favorite shop this side of Orlando... read more

I was bouncing around from barber to barber in a quest to find someone...anyone...who can do a Fade correctly (Background Info: I'm Asian, so my hair is unforgiving for any mistakes & the Fade has to be laser accurate or else it will look like crap)...thank goodness I found Jaca's Hair Studio...this is THE place for anyone in search of a great haircut... The staff is multicultural & is fully capable of catering to the needs of ANYONE that walks through the doors... Danny Jaca leads the way for his crew & is a true professional, a great barber/stylist & a good man (he holds an annual charity event: Kuts for Kids)... Great barbers, great customer service..what else can you ask for? Always leave looking sharp.

This place is known for jacking up people's hair. Barbers just flat out have 0% skill, they can do 3 types of haircuts: the shave your whole head, the poor man's Cristiano Renaldo & the Pauley D. They push people to give 5 star reviews. In some instances, I know people who have been paid $5 just to rate 5 stars. Don't believe the hype, go find a good barber who can do you right! read more

I tried this place a few times for my boys (kids) and we have always made appointments. While the haircut was good there were a few instances when we didn't get into the chair for 50 minutes to an hour after our appointment time (that is why I'm going for a lower star rating). I'm pretty flexible but that much of a wait past appointment time doesn't work for me so just FYI. read more

This place is a hit or miss depending on which barber you get. The lake Nona location is far better. I finally thought I found a barber (Mike)that had some decent skills enough to cut my hair properly here and made an appointment with him. I wait two hours after my set appointment time only to realize he had his buddy take my slot even though mike was already running behind. Incredibly unprofessional. Avoid Mike and if you can avoid this barbershop! read more
