As it so happened, their lunch menu had it and so, I decided to order it. It's a reasonably big restaurant and it was almost full when I arrived. The kitchen is open and it seemed, all the staff in the kitchen and the restaurant were members of one family. The service was friendly and the menu extensive. They also have a huge selection of Asian teas here which is very nice. Not many places have a big choice of teas. The pho arrived and it looked fabulous. The broth was intense in flavour and whilst it was not so spicy the addition of a bit if chili sauce made this one of the best Pho's I have had since being in Munich. Prices are good and the lunch specials are good portion for a very reasonable price. I would come back here again and try other dishes off the menu. It was a generous portion and everything was cooked well. My partner got a regular pho and he said it tasted authentic. I tasted the broth and it tasted pretty good. I am not sure if they have an English menu, however I overheard the waitress speaking to another customer in English so I am quite sure you can get by if your German is not up to scratch. The reason I had not wanted the takeaway order immediately was that my husband had ordered the fried bananas with ice cream and I was concerned that the ice cream would melt. Apparently that was not an issue because when you do takeaway the fried bananas with ice cream is ONLY two sad pieces of fried bananas. Was there a discount for the lack of ice cream, fruit, or wafer you get with the dish if you dine-in? Nope, they charged us the full price while failing to deliver half the dish! The menu item literally has the word ice cream in it so I felt really cheated. We got two pieces of half a banana, so basically one banana for €6.90! At least be honest about it and give me a heads up. Another fail was that they did not provide any fish sauce or sauce period for his lemongrass chicken vermicelli dish or his green mango salad. What is Vietnamese food without fish sauce?!? The lemongrass chicken was also very dry. If you choose to order takeaway, please learn from my oversight and be sure to check your order in the restaurant. Personally, I will never come back. If this is the best pho in Munich (like one of the reviewers said) then I would not suggest getting pho in Munich.

The duck dish with the noodles comes in a deep musky broth, topped with a sliced, fried duck. The portion of the rice dishes are huge. Enough to take home for two, or if you're really hungry and eat the entire thing, anticipate a nap. As you sit in this small bistro, you'll notice the care they put into each dish. It's not rushed like some Chinese places. They take their time and they don't charge much for it. Enjoy the food without hot sauce first. The heat might be enough!
