Service satisfaction is split half and half. Sometimes they're great, sometimes not so much. The dispatchers answering the calls are sometimes nice and helpful, and sometimes are rude and need an attitude check. They don't have service for late at night, unfortunately, but that may just be for those requests made via insurance companies. Be aware though that they'll treat you differently when you tell them you're making the reservation through an insurance versus paying cash. read more

One star that's exactly the score they deserve. Both the Driver and Operator will either openly curse you or do so under their breath and then play the victim when you call them out on it. Don't worry they don't want your business either. They outright tell you to find other drivers because, in their deluded minds, other services like Uber don't exist. If anything this made me appreciate Uber far better, You go outside use your app and they appear within one minute, they will not complain about how many people get in nor do you have to deal with them either arriving too early and yelling at you to hurry up or too late and being stressed out by their ineptidue. read more

The receptionist was so rude when I wanted to make sure the time was right, giving an altitude for asking for confirmation of when the driver will arrive. She needs to be fired or trained better for customer service and she blocked me just because I wanted to make sure the confirmation of when the driver will arrive to pick me and my family to JFK. Rude as hell and I hope she gets a lesson for being rude to customers even though they never yell and just wanted to ask if the information is correct. read more

I have been using J T Transportation since I was a child. They are what you expect from a car service. Everyone's experience will be different based on the driver that gets dispatched. Due to the current pandemic and the increase in crimes I have been taking Car Service a lot more. JT transportation offers very competitive rates, compared to Uber and Lyft. The drivers are not very chatty which I like, and what is great is you can schedule your ride with them ahead of time, and they are always prompt. The dispatchers that you speak to also varies, but they get the job done. They are straight to the point, you just have to tell them your address, where you want to go, and they give you the rate. I have been using JT Trans for years. The driver's are nice and professional, but the dispatcher are incredibly rude. I just call to confirm a trip for pick up today 5/30/24, because I did not get a confirmation call like I normally do. Only to find out they have a different contact number in their systems. When I want to provide my number. The lady brush me off and said it's been done, she saw my number without letting me finish or at least repeat that's the correct number. She seems to be irritated and rush to cut me off. The entire call last only a little over a minute. I guess I have to take her word that it's been done. JT Trans management should take note, when you put someone at the front line, they should always listen and let your customer speaks. Confirmation is important to ensure there is no miscommunication. I do not recommend TJ Trans and will not use them again, I might reconsider if I get a feedback from management. Something has to be done with their dispatcher with attitude check! read more

Both the company and drivers are extremely disrespectful and rude. They keep calling the house phone though they've been told by my parents, my grandparents, and myself to call my grandparents' cell phone instead. They've been told on more than 20 occasions and the appropriate number was provided each time. Though they've been told over 20 times, the company and drivers still chose to be negligent and inconsiderate because they're calling at 5:30/6am therefore unnecessarily waking up the whole family. My mom had called the company on several occasions to try to change the phone number they have on file. Whoever picked up would always start interrupting and saying how the number my mom provided wasn't the number they were given by the insurance company. The point they made is understood and acknowledged but when asked if the number could be changed on their system as the one they call, the operator started arguing with my mom saying then said "I'm not talking to you anymore" and hung up... There have been a number of times when the drivers got to my house 30-45 mins then curse my grandparents out because they called the wrong number. When they get called out for it, the drivers would throw temper tantrums like a bunch of emotional three year olds. It's literally no one's fault but the drivers that they chose to be early and then call the wrong number. I understand that the costumers aren't always right but the staff of this company needs to grow up and pull their heads out of their behinds. Who goes around cursing elderly people out? What company argues with the customers when all they had to do was change a phone number? read more

First time using JT Transportation. Very smooth experience from dispatch to arrival. The dispatcher was very nice and polite. Called around noon time and got a car in a good turnaround time. The car was clean, nice and the drive was very professional. The ride was for my mother (over 80 years old) to the doctor office by herself. He waited patiently for her to get into the car and pointed her to the building to ensure she arrived safely. I really appreciated the extra attention. Special thanks to the driver, Mr. Tang. Called a car to go to the airport. He was on time, but he was at wrong house. We told him to pick up at the corner, but he was a few houses up the street and backed up. He did help put my luggage in trunk. He was talkative once I got in, but then he was bitching about having to take me to the airport. How it's traffic and he'll be stuck in traffic coming back. Ummmm....sorry, but that's not my problem. I don't know if he was just trying to make me feel guilty for more tip or just complaining. Then it was silence the rest of the trip. Long lasted company, declining in services. I used to trust this car service company. Lately, the dispatcher is always rude, many drivers are always on phone with or without headset while driving customers to their destinations. When on phone, each sentence contains some profanity...... sometime complaining life, sometimes complaining the previous riders.... Very very unprofessional! Called several hours in advance to go to jfk airport. Car arrived and driver asked me where I was going. Told him again jfk. Driver told me he wont have time to go to jfk. This is one of my three 'go to' car service. I can always count on them whenever i need a car. Every time i need a car to cruise or airport, i reserve it the night before in advance. I can always count on them cause they are a little early or on time. They have patience when we are running alittle late. They are friendly, they can talk with you or leave you alone. i also always use this service whenever i am in brooklyn. I took away a star cause they didnt have much cars available lately especially if i need pick up from time square after a broadway show. (Even if i can meet them at a better destination for pick up like bryant park area) They claim they have over a thousand cars, but not one car in manhattan? Oh well, better luck next time. Very courteous, always on time. Way cheaper than Uber/taxi and the drivers know where they are going (unlike some Uber drivers). Took off one star due to limited range outside of Brooklyn (as one reviewer noted), though if you reserve ahead they will be able to accommodate. read more

If I can give a "0" rating I would. I have been referring people to JT Transportation over the years, and for the first time I personally used them today. They actually ripped me and my mother off in paying the driver $40 + $6 tips. The trip was from 7th Ave/64th street going to Ave N/E 64th Street which is 6.4 miles (dropping me off and then picking up 2 other people), then going to E. 24th/Ave X which is 3.1 miles. It was originally 1-way trip that cost $20 then I needed an extra trip which cost an extra $20 for a few more blocks. My mom asked why is it so expensive. They could have taken the B3 down the avenue that cost about $6. She stated that she just paid $11 for the trip to Ave N/E 64th Street and inquire if my trip was $30. Stay away they are dishonest and I will be posting in the Chinese website for the Asian community to be aware. They do not deserve any more customers. read more
