Daniel sketched the design after listening to what he wanted. He was patient and put his own twist on it. It came out better than we could imagine. Daniel took his time as well. Every time I go in there, which I admit isn't near often enough but probably more than some, I delight in "finds". I have a fairly decent collection of artwork and it's not confined to paintings. I've ceramics, sculptures, glasswork, pottery, photographs, and a few weird pieces of found object works as well. Quite a few of those pieces have come from this jewel of a gallery so close to home. The owner Karen, and her friendly staff have always allowed me the luxury to simply roam. I have to walk through numerous times to take everything in. I get distracted by one or two pieces and then turn around and find something else completely unexpected. And, it becomes mine. I love this place!! I am a retired healthcare designer and Chemers was the art consultant on a few of our firms healthcare projects. What I enjoyed was the chosen works were always different from the predictable works too often seen in healthcare spaces and, they always complimented the concepts of our interiors. I also love the shows and exhibitions they often host here. Often soliciting works from local artists, craftspeople, and even foodies, these "pop-up" shows are always good for gifts, wearables, and sometimes taste-ables! And if I'm lucky, I often walk away with a new piece! I always look forward to stopping in on these shows and could spend an hour or more perusing. Do yourself a favor and visit this gallery - oh, and of course, don't forget, they also do excellent framing!!

There are original paintings, ceramics, jewelry, books and cards, and an outside area of yard decor. On the day we were there, David Harris Lang was there. He's the author of three books that are sold here. They are fiction mystery thrillers based on places he lived and spent time in the Far East. We bought all three and walked away with three autographed books! So cool! This stretch of road on Los Rios across the railroad tracks in San Juan Capistrano is so charming. And The Cottage Gallery is just the kind of little shop you would expect to find here.

I found Hadley Olivia because I wanted to find somewhere I could test the online brands (Brooklyn bedding, helix, Nolah, puffy etc) in person. Their showroom has all of them. It also happened to have a brand called Posh+Lavish, that I had never heard of but that makes all natural latex beds like Avocado. Dennis explained all of this to me and provided great knowledge and service. I selected a floor model from this brand for $1350, that retails for $3300 and had only been 2 months on the floor. They have great floor model prices here as well as the best prices I could find on the new bed in the box mattresses. For ex, I got 35 percent off on the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora after searching all over for the best discount codes and emailing BB, but Hadley was able to do even better than that price (-15 pct off lowest offer). Ok now on to the bed I got. It was called a "Posh" which it turns out is a newly launched subsidiary company of Posh and Lavish and uses some foams. I wanted all natural. I contacted Brad, the manager, and even though mine was "final sale" he said no problem, we can change it (2 days before scheduled delivery). And then he even one upped that by offering me a brand new bed from the posh and lavish line called the providence which is much more expensive, for the same price. So I ended up getting this brand new all natural luxury latex bed for $1350. Delivery was seamless and they kept the same delivery window. They also hauled away my old mattress. And set up the new one even putting on the protector and giving me advice about my bedframe. This was a rare example of A plus consumer service from a company. It exceed all expectations. You should absolutely use this store for your mattress needs.
