Libraries today aren't as quiet as they used to be, but I had plenty of space at my table to be comfortable with my book, notepad, pens, & highlighters. I actually enjoyed being in earshot of a teacher tutoring a student and giving the parent an update. Was very pleased to find the ladies restroom clean. Would definitely return here for study time, if necessary.

The ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center collaboration between the library district and the Children's Theatre is a hands down wonder. While some libraries specialize in library things (games and toys) to engage kids and others specialize in library materials (books and puzzles), ImaginOn has it all ... including plays and story times. The library itself is free to enter, multi-story, newish, clean and easy to get to, with available parking that is free for 90 minutes with a stamped ticket. This facility absolutely had everything to stimulate kids of all ages ... probably 2 to 12 being the sweet spot. Do make a point of finding your way here for a visit someday ... you'll be glad you did. Highly recommended.

There is always some sort of craft, legos, toys and computers for her to play with/use. They also usually have monthly events and a theater. I prefer to download the CMLibrary app to keep up with events. We prefer to come here on the Saturday's but it's definitely more packed. It's about 40ish families at every session. They have a parking garage (under the library) which you can take the elevator directly into the library. They validate for 90 minutes. The issue is when it's full or days they have events parking can really be a pain. They may direct you to park at 7th street parking garage but they only validate after 5pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends.

We arrived at 4 knowing it closed at 5 p.m. A friendly attendant greeted us at the gate and asked if we were new visitors which we were, and he informed us that the last tour was already progress and we could join in, or explore the grounds on our own. This is an experience everyone young and old would enjoy! The tour is a glimpse into Mr. Graham's life, his ministry, and his travels around the world. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and there's a memorial garden on site. We're already planning to return to experience the full tour, which is said to be at least an hour and a half long and it's free. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable.

I had already planned to make the 2 hour drive from Raleigh anyway, but now, I went because I needed to make this visit. The staff was incredibly friendly, as one would expect. After I finished my tour of the exhibits, two people prayed for me, including the chaplain of the library. The outside grounds are nicely kept and I like that the library/museum has the farmhouse feel to it. It feels very homey and cozy. Definitely spend some time in the bookstore, there is a lot of good merch for sale. Although $30 for a coffee mug was a little too over the top for me. Let us always remember the legacy of the Grahams and may we always be aware of God's divine and loving presence.

Pretty much the only reason I come to the library is because I need to print something. Who has a printer? Not me. Printing was free for a bit at the library which was nice, but they've started charging again. It's only 25 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents per page for color which is well worth not having to deal with a printer for me. This isn't my normal library, but it was on our way when we were running errands so we stopped here instead. There's a convenient app you can use to upload and print your documents. The reason for the lower than normal rating here is because none of the librarians knew how to use it. The app is straightforward if you're adding a printer for the first time. Unfortunately, I had my normal library set up already and couldn't figure out how to add another library. The librarians only seemed to know how to repeat the instructions on the sign (which assumed you had never set up a printer before). I ended up having to email the stuff to myself, log into a computer, and print from there which is more time consuming. The computers also turn off immediately 10 minutes before it closes so I was in a race with the clock. It shut down seconds after I clicked print. I hope they get the issues with the app resolved so you can have more than one library (or inform staff how to do that). Until then, I'll stick to my normal library.
