If you're reading this, Worrell, thank you so much again! I was vacating my apartment on short notice due to a work transfer. I needed to repair the dry wall where my TV hung. There were two 3-inch holes in the dry wall where wires were hidden, along with a twelve smaller holes for the TV mount. Worrell answered the call for this immediately. Worrell was great, firstly, because he responded quickly to my request (within minutes), assessed that he could do the project, and offered me very immediate dates to arrive. Even more helpful was that his hours were flexible. I work during the day and had limited leave time. No problem! Worrell was there at 7:30 p.m. for me. He came prepared with all the necessary tools too. He cleanly completed the job of taking down my TV mount, cleaning up the wall, mixing the ingredients, and perfectly patching everything. All said, he took less than two hours to finish it all. His work was smoothly done. Last, his pricing was competitive. He did not gauge me on material costs, and his labor costs were fair for the time spent. He was courteous throughout the entire process. He's a family man that you can trust. They installed drywall, floor tile, wall tile, and trim beautifully. His painting team did a fantastic job painting numerous rooms, ceilings, and the entire 3 floor staircase. Donald was also happy to help with smaller projects such as cutting holes in the brick wall to install wall AC units, helping me build custom cabinets, tightening lose faucets, mounting dishwashers, leveling floors, the list goes on and on. The best part about the team is that they will do the job correctly with a high level of attention to detail. If I am not completely satisfied with something, they are more than happy to re-do it from scratch to make me satisfied. They are also very flexible with timing and have often come out on a Saturday to complete something that needed to be done. I had an issue with a plumber (not related to 3D) that I used to install the shower pans in the bathrooms that caused a leak inside the wall. Donald came out immediately (on a Saturday) and replaced the entire shower assembly to fix someone else's mistake. Another important factor to hiring someone is the ability to trust someone in your home and feel comfortable in discussing money and issues that come up in every construction job. I have been completely comfortable with the team in my house without anyone there to supervise, and any discussions on costs for additional work I am requesting has been very reasonable. Nazir Mohammed is the owner of this company, he is a liar and a con artist and I am not exaggerating. The framing for all his projects happen quickly because he subcontracts another company to do it quickly. That leads you to believe everything else will move quickly, not at all, after that good luck! He will promise you the world upfront, say all the right things and once he gets your money he will drag things out as long as he can. I found out later on the reason for this is because he was using money from one project to fund one of the several others he has going on. To make matters worse if you question anything in terms of time frame that was promised or anything related to the job being completed, he gets very rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and if you've already given him money you're in a bad spot because he will just literally threaten to not finish the job. On more days than I can count I show up at my property only to find literally no one is working, and upon calling to find out why he began yelling at me as if I was in the wrong (this happened MULTIPLE times). He has several projects in litigation as I'm typing this now and mine could have been one of them even before those as he still left the work about 10-15% incomplete, I just chose to let it go because i didn't want to deal with him or his inflated ego ever again. CAN Construction Newark, NJ was an absolute night mare to deal with I can't stress enough stay away. No matter how much money you THINK you're saving it is 190% not worth the headache, he and C.A.N. Construction will put you through. Not to mention he's constantly bringing new shady workers parading around unsupervised to his clients' properties every few weeks because apparently he treats his employees besides a select few terribly as well (got this directly from several of them).
