This is a family run friendly sandwich shop and cafe towards the bottom end of Macclesfield town centre. The portions are brilliant for the price, and the quality is fab. I regularly have a full breakfast although there is the option of any combination on any type of bread, along with the obligatory oatcakes and tea cakes. For me... at lunch, the hands down winner of the sandwich filler competition has to be the chinese chicken. It is THE tastiest I have ever had, and others agree- Every time I go i am required to purchase one for the wife. Although this place has another shop on Hurdsfield Industrial estate, delivers in the local area and has a van on the move around local workplaces- the thing that most sets them apart is the service. They are a friendly bunch who are always up for a natter, but know if you're buying a butty you are usually in a rush. Love this butty shop! On the main high street in Macc town. There's room for about 8 people to sit down for breakfast or lunch. Extensive menu to choose from including the local oatcakes. Staff are friendly & always chatty. My favourite is the Chinese chicken salad sandwich & a proper salad butty with egg! The best sandwich shop I have found in Macclesfield so far! I have to second the other reviews about the Chinese chicken, great choice, nice flavouring and you can have it with a generous portion of salad. The people working here are very warm and welcoming. It's a great shout. read more
