A little electrical shop in the middle of the row of green shops on Drury Lane. The shop front proudly declares they have been in business since 1864 which is around the time of the very first commercial lightbulbs which only had a very short life due to the poor vacuum inside the bulb.
They carry out electrical installations, electrical repairs and portable applicance (PAT) testing which is probably a requirement for all electrical equipment in offices and rented houses.
Inside the shop they only sell the basics: extention leads, bulbs, plug fittings and telephone leads etc but there isn't much electrical work that the general public are allowed to touch themselves these days anyway. read more
