The phone was answered by a VERY courteous lady who said she could have someone out in under four hours! She gave me a good idea of the charges if it was what it appeared to be (broken pulley cable). I was thrilled and booked the appointment. A very kind and professional young man called me a bit earlier than expected and said he was on his way. He arrived and was considerate of our home. He diagnosed the problem in under one minute and said it would take him the minimum billable time to fix. He also found a broken hinge and I said to fix it and he lubricated the tracks. He fixed everything flawlessly and even happily answered the questions I had about a replacement door opener. The bill was LESS than expected! This was beyond optimal for an unexpected repair. I could not be happier.

Mike…read moreconvinced me that I needed a new door when indeed I didn't need one and I gave him a $1,000 deposit in addition to the $600 for the new garage door opener. After speaking with family, we decided that we are going to sell the house and cancelled the order for the garage door and instead asked Mike to replace the weather stripping on the Garage Door. Mike quoted me $500 for replacing the weather stripping and also said that he didn't charge me for repairing a spring and fixing rails on my door and said that I owed him $250 for labor. I agreed to his labor charge and asked him to return the remaining $750 of my deposit which he also agreed to. He sent me a Zelle for $700 the next day and when I questioned him about the remaining $50, he said that he "figured" out that I owed him additional $50. He was making charges as he went along. Also, he will just buy an opener from Home Depot and tell you that it is a professional series garage door opener when it actually is not. Be aware of this guy he talks sweet but will try to rip you off & upsell you. Make sure you shop around. I would not recommend him. I honestly laid out my entire story for the potential customers. I have had Branden the past few years respond to the service calls related to this garage door and he always manages to repair it better than ever. I had accidently backed into a section of my door and he got it back on the track in an emergency situation and sealed up everything and the gaps. When they came back out (because it was still noisy) they said I need new rollers and cables. We declined to have the work done immediately to get other estimates and they tried charging a $45 service fee (for a warranty check). They then threatened to place a lien if we did not pay the $45. Actually insane thing to threaten, over $45 when we have paid them nearly $2,000 for work over the past year. In summary, their prices are high, their warranty is sad (most reputable garage door companies will give 1 year minimum) and their business practices are unethical and unprofessional.

The repairman was there for about 7 minutes, charged $150.00 to say the opener is old and I should keep it until it stops working completely. Their labor rate must be between $900 -1000.00 per hour Then gave a $674.00 quote for a new opener and asked if I wanted to replace the opener. As he did not actually do any kind of service or repair, what was I charged $150.00 for? Obviously, I will not be using this company again as they lack ethics and integrity. Garage door openers are about $140.00 - 175.00 at most hardware stores. Why would I pay this company almost $700.00? Update: No one stated that I would be charged $150.00 just to have your person show up and do nothing. How do you stand by that kind of 'pricing'. That is called fraud and unethical. Nathan C obviously is okay with ripping off a potential customer. His comments prove that the company doesn't care about customer satisfaction, value or integrity.
