Roaming Fork One of…read morethe original food trucks to start the food truck scene in Charlotte NC, Roaming Fork Food Truck is offering some delicious eats. I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

I love the "DIY" concept of this truck, where you can create whatever hot dog you want, with the super unique list of toppings. I cannot wait to go back, and try some different combinations :) The floats also looked like they were straight out of the Food Network. I got the orange creamsicle, and the way they garnished it with bright candy took me back to childhood euphoria haha. The mix of Orange with Vanilla was Devine! They told me they will be at breweries, dog parks, and even concerts. Was so happy to discover this hidden gem, will follow them wherever they pop up next.
