I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. The staff even gave me a container of syrup to dip in, and it was delicious. My friend got the pork belly sandwich and Parmesan fries. The cashier Kazca was super sweet and recommended a nice barbecue drizzle on top and it did not disappoint! I love the "DIY" concept of this truck, where you can create whatever hot dog you want, with the super unique list of toppings. I cannot wait to go back, and try some different combinations :) The floats also looked like they were straight out of the Food Network.
