They do not meet there promised obligations. After purchasing vehicle through them when it was paid off they refused to turn over the second set of keys to the vehicle even though they had them. They wouldn't mail them to me even though I agreed to pay the $30 they asked for in order to mail them to me. Lesson learned here is once they have your last payment they don't care anymore about you even though there sales department keeps messaging and calling me wanting to sale me another vehicle. At first they were all nice and ready to sale, they tell me I am "pre approved" afer sitting there for an hour the guy comes back to say he has good news .. just to tell me I could not afford anything they had on the lot . Talking about a sucker punch in the gut ...I am a 56 yr old female single on military retirement and DFAS no bills but $589 rent and electric , I was tradeing in a 2010 BMW 328i that needs a new fuel tank and giving them $$ but that was not good enough , Just unbeleiveable how one minute they are building you up showing you around the dealership and showing you videos of buyers... Kinda crazy because I have NO credit and then they come back out with a attaude saying crazy remarks such as " you cant afford anything on our lot" come on REALLY??? My daughter was there with me and she to heard what was said and was shocked as I was . So you there and you know WHO you are plus I left you an email that you NEVER responded to you didn't have to be RUDE and YES I can afford anything on your lot!!! So to ANYONE whom is living on military retirement don't go to JD Byrider to try and build credit after your spouse passes because you just might be treated as I was like you are just worthless because you cant buy a car from a buy here pay here lot ... Leo worked his hardest to make sure we got out of our truck and into a newer Honda CR-V with a better air conditioner, and even got our payments lower than what they were before!! I definitely recommend JD Byrider!! This is our second vehicle through them and they have yet to disappoint us!! We've been doing business with them since 2019!! Worst place to buy a car, the only reason you walk out driving is because they know they suckered you into a "binding contract" and will do the absolute minimum for their customers. I had a car roughly 8-9 months through them and had a car wreck and was not at fault, they won't change your pay dates, they will not replace your vehicle like they said they would (in time) or will try to downgrade you. Leo and Miguel are both procrastinators and will try to drag anything out in hopes you will miss your payments and care very little about who they work with. Terrible place. read more

I wish "0" or negative stars was an option. I bought my first car through JD Byrider in 2017, within a year of having that vehicle it was in their shop at least 12 times. Each time they "fixed" it something new would break. Fast forward to 2019 I upgraded from a car to a little SUV to fit my family. Everything was great for about 6 months (long enough for warranty to expire). Car had oil leak and required at least a quart of oil a week, amongst other issues they couldn't help me with any longer. Fast forward again to January of 2022 and the engine completely goes out. Car lot fixed it for me at a cost of 5k. In the process of fixing my engine they busted a hole in my air condition condenser which cost me another $250 to fix even though it was their fault. Fast forward again to now and my transmission has gone out completely. I am down to owing 4k on the car and they refuse to let me trade it in for another even though now I have no vehicle I'm stuck paying them for my lawn ornament. I will be so glad when this car is paid off and I am done with them for good. Please use someone else for your car buying needs. read more

Sent family up there Todo business with them, they drive over an hour away to go there, and was promised that car if they back by 4pm, they showed up at 330pm, to the salesmen (Robert) smirking and laughing, (very unprofessional and just plain rude, then tried to play it off that he had someone else interested in it. They were on the way to get the down payment and that's what they come to when they get back. I wouldn't recommend any one to go that dealership just because they don't care about the customers and all they care about is make money for themselves. They didn't want to her in a car she wanted and kept pushing her towards a car that was a POS. was discriminated against before they ran credit or anything she pointed out a car that she wanted, and before doing any research told her she was not approved. I wouldn't recommend this car lot to anyone that ever has anything change in their lives!! I haven't missed a payment or been even a day late in over a year. My job recently went to weekly payroll so I went to the office to ask if my payment could be changed from biweekly to weekly because its a huge change for me and I don't want my bills to fall behind. I didn't ask for my payments to go down...just be split up. I was told that the contract is binding and cannot be changed until my car is paid off, which I know for a fact is BULL!!.
