I contracted with J.C. Bar Properties and spoke with Greg regarding a job concern. Greg was great and helpful. Problem resolved.

I wish that I would have the option to give zero stars to Fox Run Realty. Has been, by far, the…read moreworst experience I've had in my years of renting. Where to begin? My fiance and I began renting a townhouse at Riverview Park Apartments in January of 2016. Cosmetically, it was lacking. The apartments are severely outdated, with kitchen cabinets and second floor carpeting from the 70s. It was our only option at the time as we needed a place that would allow my two cats so we overlooked the aesthetics, not realizing that they were a major clue to how much of a low life slum lord Rober Estill is. Our next door neighbor's hot water heater burst, causing our living room to flood which resulted in water damage to furniture and other personal belongings. Our biggest concern having a small child was the resulting mold growth in the walls and under the carpet. The only solution he offered was to run fans and a dehumidifier and to have the maintenance man come in to clean the carpet. In July of this year, we had a leak in our wall. We were told to turn the water off until the maintenance man who was out of town returned on Tuesday. This was on a Saturday. My fiance fixed the leak himself. It took the maintenance man a MONTH to come repair the drywall. A MONTH with a huge hole in the wall. It took 3 months to have a dripping sink repaired. The icing on this shitty cake is that the resident manager, Deb Hess, told us that we could give our 60 day notice and end our lease before its January 31, 2019 expiration with no problem because she claimed to have a waiting list of people. The only stipulation was that she had to show the apartment during those 60 days. We endured the barrage of strangers traipsing through our place and a new tenant was in place before the end of October. No lapse in rent occured to Fox Run Realty. My fiance did a final walk through with Deb and Mr. Estill who were both impressed with the state that we left the apartment. They led us to believe that our security deposit would be returned to us, less the carpet cleaning fee and some minor repairs. This past Wednesday, however, we received a letter dated November 5 that we forfeited our deposit due to early termination and OWED an additional $115. Mr. Estill is claiming that Deb Hess, the woman he pays to handle his properties, had no right to tell us we could end our lease early and made some poor excuses about having to schedule the walk throughs and advertise the property. I've been in customer service for 12 years. This is all around bad business practice. People need to stop renting from these scum bags!

This is by far the worst people to rent from! They over charge by $100 on there tiny 2 bedroom…read moreapartments. They have a seperate laundry room with one washer and dryer for 6 units and cost at least $5 to do one load! The owner Bob Estill is a jerk! He walked into apartments without giving notice. 7 am didn't matter or if your sleeping didn't matter either. He had even talked in to 2 tendents that were naked. And when I say he walks in. He knocks once unlocks the door comes in and finds you where ever you might be He likes to change the lease after you have signed it or he threatens to throw you stuff out. For example : lease says you can have flowers in the garden. I had 2 pots and a small rainbow shaped 3 pot layout for flowers as well. Also had some stepping stones that we had made with my daughters hands. And a welcome flag. Well 2 days after we moved in he said we weren't allowed to have anything out side and he was gonna bring truck and throw it all away. Another example. We had asked his permission to get a table for outside and he agreeed to it. Well a few months later that had to go to. And he was gonna throw it out. So we had to get rid of that to. For the holidays we would decorate the outside nothing to crazy but a little bit. Well every year he would come down and take pictures of it. And God forbid if you still had it up one day after the holiday because he would be at the door complaining that it looked like a mess and he was gonna throw it all away. There maintenance is horrible they keeping hiring new people ever few.months so if you had a problem it wouldn't be passed along to the new guys. It took 2 years for stuff to be.fixed that had been.broken since we had moved in! There weather stripping doesn't work. You still freeze in the winter even if you have the heat on full blast. And they wont do anything about that. The walls in these apartments are so thin you can hear everything! People talking upstairs, the TV on, any music, simply walking around and closing doors. And nothing gets done about it either. There yo cheap to but padding under the carpets and speaking about being cheap. The same cabinets have been.in the tiny kitchen for.over 30 sum years and there falling apart but don't worry you'll get billed for that to. During the winter you have to shovel.out the parking lot yourself and hope that you can make it down the street. Their little it has to be 3 inches.rule.never gets.filed to a.weeks after it snows. So your stuck.doing everything yourself. And when we had the hurricane we had trees ripped out and failing ontop of cars and the apartments and a lot of damage It took them almost 2-3 weeks after the storm to come out and look at damages than.complain about them and blame some tenents for the damage Save your money Go somewhere else, save all the stress from this place.
