I had called serval tree cutting services; several were dead numbers and most did not return the call. Bob Gerhold had answered the phone after what I assume was a long day at work, hard work. i was shocked to hear him say he would come right over after dinner to give an estimate, which he actually did. He was frank and to the point. Bob clearly described where each tree would fall and how he would do it and what he would and would not do. In the end that is exactly what was done. There was no BS with him. I was trully amazed to see him and his 2 kids do the work well. I would very much hire them again. RS

It was in extremely poor shape. We contacted Joe the owner of Decks NJ and in a week or so he came by to give us an estimate and his vision of what we could do. We wanted to save some money and not remove the existing substructure and Joe had the integrity to be honest with us and tell us it was in workable shape. Joe listened to what we wanted and provided his expert opinion... (much if not all of which we agreed with). He went to work and sent us graphical drawings (which looked very real) and our new deck just jumped out at us. We had to have it! We negotiated a very fair price with Joe and he and his team spent the next few weeks building our dream deck. If you are looking for an artist who will listen to his customers and work very hard to please look no further. Joe and his team are meticulous about every detail and want the deck and the experience to be the best in the business.. it shows.
