Not much of a selection of mixers and the soda wasn't available in 6 packs or anything, just singles. Boo!! Overall good spirits to be found!

She hands me the first thing I ask for and doesn't bother to ask what else I want before talking to the next person. I'm still standing there watching this... The other woman wanted chicken and the person behind the counter was all "Oh, well that's going to be like 20 minutes because I have to go get it, come back and prep it and make it"... Then she sees me and says "you want something else" I said yes and she's all "Oh man, well that means that chicken is going to be longer now that I have to help her"... Really? WTH? So it's my fault that you didn't even finish with me first? I said the hell with it and walked away, told her to help the other person. THIS IS YOUR JOB, if you don't like it... Go find another one. Disgusting. The rest of the place is clean and has a decent selection... Check out usually seems to take to long. I'm not impressed with any of it...

Couple that…read morewith the fact that they're nearly all the way out in South Sumter and it's no wonder that the place is usually empty. We usually stick with Food Lion or Walmart for shelved and cooled/frozen goods but if we're in the mood for some produce then we'll make the drive out and pay the extra costs for the freshest in town. As a side note, there is a new Super Bi-Lo in Sandhills and it's amazing. There's also a Publix in West Cola and we've made that drive (55-60 minutes) a few times just for produce and their bakery (while SB-L has a better section for cheese and wine).

The best coffee spot in town by a country mile…read more Sumter is very much a country town with the only coffee spots being the few usual chains. The one thing all have in common is that specialty coffee is really sugary. And I'm no stranger to my sugary carmel lattes, but you really taste the coffee quality here and it is FAR better than anything else you'll get it town. The only food options asides sweets and yogurt are the breakfast burritos (egg, cheese, and sausage/bacon/potato). I usually get the bacon egg and cheese burrito when I stop to get coffee during my lunch break. My favorite feature of the coffee shop is the coffee shop itself. I can't overstate how nice this place is compared to any place in town outside the few restaurants on Main Street. I went on a date here once and would recommend this to anyone looking for that first meet up to get to know each other. I recently moved from Sumter, but when I visit again in the morning/early afternoon, I'll be here again for sure.
