Plus who doesn't love those biscuits and honey? Fortunately we had missed the lunch rush and were seated immediately. Our table was next to "Rick's" table, Babe's famous dining guest. Ordering the two separate plates we don't end up taking a lot of chicken home. The fired chicken dinner includes the white meat my wife likes and the dark meat I love plus unlimited veggies for the both of us. It's the perfect dinner for the two of us. The chicken was extremely overcooked tough and dry had no flavor, the macaroni and cheese was the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever had, the mashed potatoes were decent but the mushroom gravy if you want to call it gravy, was thick blobby and disgusting. The only thing edible from this place was the fried okra and the biscuits. I'm just not sure how food could be that bad but it was. The Jack in the Box in our town is way above and beyond the Chester's Chicken and that's saying a lot because we've had problems with our Jack in the Box. I will never eat Chester's Chicken again no matter what state I'm in. I pretty much threw $30 away in the trash last night. The only other complaint that I have is that I called my order in and we left 20 minutes later to go pick it up and we still have to wait another 20 minutes to receive our food. I feel like we waited a long time for somebody to overcook our chicken. On the positive side the lady on the phone was very nice when I placed my order.
