In short: Michael is the best help I have found for carpentry / cabinet / furniture work in…read moreKnoxville since moving here 10 years ago. He really cares about his work and making sure his customers are happy. He is also very reasonably priced and very easy to work with. I highly, highly recommend him for any sort of carpentry or furniture work you are considering for your home. We found Michael on yelp and called him about a pantry job we had had in mind for about a year. We have sort of a cookie-cutter home in West Knoxville and the pantry in the home was very small and very builder grade. Our family is expanding -- so we wanted to upgrade the pantry to make better use of the (limited) space we had. We had Michael over to ask him about options. We showed him a video we had found of someone who had a similar problem and had built a solution we really liked. He told us he could do it and we hired him. Pricing was very transparent and very reasonable. He gave us timelines and worked to meet the timeline. There was a delay due to a winter storm in Knoxville, but he always kept us in the loop and worked with us to schedule. When install day came, he was quick and made sure we did not have a big hole in our wall for more than a couple days. Overall, we love the finished product! The work feels high quality and we have so much more space than we are used to. In fact, we're now hiring Michael again to build some cabinetry with a sink insert for our garage. If you're thinking about something similar for your home, we cannot recommend Michael highly enough!

They made me an oven & microwave cabinet with 1 big drawer below oven & a set of doors above the microwave. They also made me 2 cabinets for over my washer & dryer. The cabinets are full open doors & the drawer is full extension also. They are all soft close as well. The people that installed went out of their way to keep my house clean & to get the molding correct to match the other cabinets. They came back a second day to install adjustable racks to hold my cookie sheets & such. Their cabinets are absolutely the best cabinets I have ever had & I have had other custom cabinets. I am attaching pictures. I would recommend them a 100 times over. They are respectful, contentious, timely, & are going to figure out how to follow through with what they promised you they could do, no matter how puzzling the situation is to

The project was completed ahead of schedule in about 6 weeks. To try and quantify the speed of construction, friends of ours had less work done and it took twice as long.
