Both were so delicious, and I'm very picky about salmon as I cook it at home and it is always better than the restaurants. We sat outside as the weather was perfect. Very busy place. Service was great. Waiters were very nice and we got our food quick. Just know when in Europe once you get your food you won't see your server for a while. They are in no rush to turn over tables like the US.

We were seated in a booth in the back which was nice. We ordered several dishes and shared. We had the gnocchi with chanterelles, sole, burrata salad and veal scallopini. The best dish was the sole. Coming in second was the mushroom gnocchi but it was on the salty side. The entrees came with sides which were amazing (spaghetti and whipped mashed potatoes). The only dish I didn't really like was the veal because it was chewy and overcooked. The portions were huge so order accordingly. The service was excellent and prices were average for the area.

We were welcomed by Nello, the owner, he said, "Stay as long as you like. Don't rush." Well, the food came.... it was amazing! Perfect al dente on the home made Pasta, the carbonara was amazing, the scallop spaghetti was full of perfectly cooked scallops that melted in my mouth. My Italian friend raved about the Milenesa. Nello recommended a perfect wine. We ended with tiramisu and lemmoncello. It was a perfect beginning to our vacation. Nello and his helpers were welcoming and fun! The food was fantastic from beginning to end. We love Arcimbaldo!!!
